before the previous 3 patches (mainly the one that was supposed to improve graphics), i still encountered the bad texture loading problem, where everything was just solid colored polygons
now, it's mostly a sure thing whenever i log in, regardless of where i log into
everything is just solid colored polygons without any textures now....i either have to open an interface or do a change character cancel sequence, in order for the textures to load
what gives with this? haha
they somehow made it worse, that has to mean they can somehow make it better yeah?
NOW I am running fine on Malabog Castle, which was impossible after module 5 patch messed something up.
Tiamat running normaly good as always only problem when DC uses astral shield or some other bugged power ticks. only 3 or 4 situations of absurd lag into more than 50 tiamat runs.
So, to me it at least fixed malabog castle outdoors which was impossible to play even on the lowest of the lowest custom settings.
but I did found that the dragon heads are kinda disappearing sometimes when I am near them (attacking them) and the already infamous bug on dread spire lights.
its better in crowded scenarios, but there are still some issues left left with textures(like missing a big patch of ground in WoD near Tiamat entrance during dragon HE's)
My biggest problem is the repeated five-second freezes, usually during combat, for perhaps the first ten minutes of play. It's like the game has to stop everything to load a new texture, shader, or model. That drives me crazy.

Since the Thursday Patch, I have not had one single instance of my graphics glitching out to sparkly 8-bit graphics. Also, my performance issues when running Skype while playing or alt-tabbing while the game is running has gone away as well. In the past, if I ran Skype or Alt-Tabbed while the game was running, when going back to the game, I would have severe performance issues that made the game unplayable until I closed skype and reloaded the game entirely.

The fixes were intended to increase performance on systems which were running out of VRAM, not stop the slow load times.
However the slow load times on my weapons went away thank goodness. Might have something to do with the priorities they may have instated. At least my character looks good...but combat still looks just as bad.
But slow graphic load times still await a fix. At this point though I just want a button which says "use all 8 Gigs of my VRAM so graphics never unload and be done with it!"
After each patch, my graphics have gotten worse. Since the last patch installed, whenever I log in or change zones, my character has bald spots, all the map textures are near black and my UI are all colored blocks. It takes 30-60 seconds for everything to get to normal.

Good to know. So things are unchanged on my side. Still having to use /reduce_mip 1 while running the game on low FX. Without it my textures still take forever to load while dragon herald are almost impossible to participate in.

Tried to bump up the graphics back for Tiamat and it still gets FPS drop, so I toned it back down though not as low since the update.

They were designed to provide lip service by the looks of it. Same old, same old.
