Ugly Truth about Neverwinter

i was playing this game from mod 3 until now, and i wanna talk about balancing PVP
i am not gonna talk about how TR in mod 5 but i wanna disscus the big picture here, and here what i see..

mod 3 = seasson of Great Sword Fighter
mod 4 = seasson of Hunter Ranger
mod 5 = instead of seasson of dragon guess what? season of Trikster Rouge
mod 6 ?? i guess seasson of Sourge Warlock and i suggest they give curse effect so CW can counter every character immortality so when we die curse effect will lock our soul character to eternity so we can't pop up again in camp fire LOL

the change in each mod is about nerfing prev OP class and buff another class to become OP, why would Dev do this? for the sake of balance? i don't think so
ok Dev team is human too that can make mistake, but why they leave this OP thing even when they know that is mistake that make unbalance PVP or PVE until the next mod?
"what if" they do this purposeful for marketing issue? "i hope this is not true"
new char = Zen demand (new mount, new slot char, new Dread Ring and shardar accomplised, new artifact to feeding, ect)
well i am not blame dev or company about this and they have fully right to get ROI and even saying take it or leave it to us
it's purely player mistake like me that invest time or money into this game because hope something too good to be true happen
"if this is not true" i suggest Dev to change TR back to Mod 4 build until Dev figure out how, if we still need to wait until mod 6 then i personaly gonna choose "leave it" over "take it" and find the exit myself
i suggest to change the game name from Neverwinter to Never Balance

I actually think m4 was CW's season along with HRs.

Also, you got an error, don't pair my class with that ever broken yet overpopular mud.

either this is true or they are REALLY DUMB at balancing.

Because I don't think they are that dumb (they wouldn't have jobs in the first place if they are, right?) I think they do this on purpose :D

    also inb4 teh lock.

There is no "what if". They do do it for marketing purposes, they milk every class players in every new mod. Rinse and repeat. This of course makes for a somewhat short-lived game. Another sign of an extortion game - they dont spend time polishing existing content and fixing long standing bugs, instead they simply add more means to get more power thus increasing the power creep. This is accomplished thru gear and boons with both being associated with real-world cash via RP and account unlocks.
Really, its too bad cause I happen to like the gameplay, the premise , the classes.

However we, the players have very low chance to have fun here. Unless you're a low life whos only satisfaction is killing people with the current OP class. PVP right now from starting lvl to lvl 60 is dominated by such players with most of them playing rogues. Going in premade is also not a guarantee for a fair and fun match.

My best advice to anyone looking for sincere fun is to play pve only with friends to avoid the elite frustrations of high end pve and pvp

    Gosh, give them a break.

It's not like they have actual statistical data from thousands and thousands of PVP matches.

    ...oh, wait, they do. nevermind.

A classic thread. The combination of whiny QQ and conspiracy theory is particularly chucklesome.
    Jenna Sunsoul - Justice Tankadin
    Aelar Hawkwind - Archer
Karrin Feywinter - Mistress of Flame
    Errin Duskwalker - Executioner

It's still the season of the CW that knows how to play their class. The best fights I have in this game are with the best CWs. As a WK/Scoundrel I'm a CW nightmare but I'm also exposed a lot. So good CWs, built for PvP are an epic fight.

Glass cannon CWs will get assist kills against me but in the end I'll murder them for the most part. Remember CWs out there, you MUST build for PvP and properly load-out your powers. If not you will burn things down but you will die A LOT.

Thats like saying " remember clerics, you should go faithfull or you'll do a ton of damage but die miserably to my rogue ". Forget that HAMSTER, I for one never wanted class equality, no, I still think in a RPG every class has pros and cons, strengths and weaknesses and thats the way it should be. But the devs themselves claimed class balance so, according to them any class with any build should be viable.. Oh course in the end that is not the case. We get the same old joke every time and it still aint funny

Chuckle all you like, in the end if you are one of the high end, bis players you fall in one of 3 groups:

    - cheater/botter/exploiter
    - big spender
    - no-lifer who literally plays this whole day every day

Take your pick. Casuals cant pvp, they get *** HAMSTER, casuals can only enjoy PVE in a close circle of friends which is exactly what I said in my first post here. Casuals dont pay, so they dont matter. Every move the dev team makes is aimed at increasing revenue, sadly they go for " lets frustrate them into leaving or paying " rather then " lets give 'em a fun and satisfying game so they pay us cause they like us " approach. Simple as that

Look who is back, a leader of a guild and a shame of whole Drider server. Get back to your hole and mock at your guildmates for playing your the most hated pvp class.
Oh wait...you don't have enough courage for that :( Just spreading your hatred where the others can't even see it, this is so familiar to your guild of dungeon booters and pvp exploiters.

Also, I am warlock, now talk you useless CW buffoon.

Lol'd hard at this, are you serious?

I'm not defending that worthless scrub. But you do realize that CW > SW in every single little thing in this game right?

    PVP? CW demolishes you, literally.

PVE ? I'd rather take a guy that can CC+Damage+Survive on his own rather than a guy that can damage only.

I don't even main a CW but you need to stop being delusional and trying to be edgy roflmao.

Now, you don't get it. I was protecting TR class in some other thread in preview section that was cleaned out of all "unconstructive" feedback. His point is I play a PvP TR, an utterly broken class that won't let him play, which is false as I haven't played my rogue since m3 release I guess.
I've already been told that this is a guild leader of some russian guild that has a problem with rogues (their pvp setup is 80% rogues though, go figure those russians)

Oh and I do realize SW is the weakest class in PvP atm :D I pvp as guardian fighter, that's the class I have most of fun with in PvP.

You have to get used to it.

Nobody likes TR's, and nobody will ever like them, ever.

Even when they were not broken people disliked them.

Even if perma-stealth is completely removed they will find ways to **** up TR's.

I was more of PvE than PvP rogue, I really felt bad being forced to play that permastealth mechanics in any aspect. Gosh, even in PvE the best PvE rogue would just give up and start soloing dungeons instead of wasting their days looking for a party. People just don't understand one simple thing, if you can't see them that does not mean you can't HEAR them. Really it's that simple.

Was going to see how this thread would play out and now I've seen enough to know my instincts were correct. Let's keep specific feedback to specific threads already in place on each point and not lump everything together, making any semblance of a constructive discussion nigh impossible.

    Thanks!
