I gave up on it for the game, spent $200 trying repairs / fixes from a PC repair company. They looked all through my system, rebooted windows, etc. They see nothing wrong with my system at all, they say it must be how the game runs with my hardware/system. I have this issue with no other games.

Ok, hello guys. I apparently have the same problem, as stated before. Like the exact same. As I see that no one has a clue, I just want to throw in some observation and recherche, hoping that a genius pops up here and gives a solution to the problem. I want to highlight that A LOT of players face this problem.

This problem started occuring one month ago (right after the change to arc client stuff, although I do not think that is the reason), when I started gaming again, after a pause without internet connection. Either way when I started playing I only crashd at specific locations in dungeons such as Lair of Mad Dragon right beofre the second boss or during last boss battle. There it froze and crashed to the desktop either giving me an error and closing the game or the game actually popping up again, letting me continue normally.
I updated my Nvidia drivers as I thought this could be the reason, but it generally did not change anything, still crashes occur. It does not seem to be time-dependent as I was spending hours in front of the last boss in that dungeon.

After that it started happening like in 5 - 10 minutes interval with no apparent reason (so no big fights, just moving around) or even me being unable to load protectors enclave. This was around the time of the patch update before the one with the CTA event.

So again i tried everything suggested here, checking stuff, decreasing graphic resolution etc. the one thing which now kinda seems to work a little is removing my worn out Dell XPS 15 adapter (seems as if the graphic card my not get enough voltage, was suggested somewhere else) and lowering the graphics tremendously, especially disabeling Lighting (none), Max physical debris (0), shadows (low).

    Ok so my suggestions:

I am playing a GF, Tiefling (english word could not be found) at 60 with no glowy stuff like perfect enchants. As the error crashes nearly only occur on my GF and not on my lvl 60 TR I suggest there may be some texture issue on my character, which is messing with the graphics constantly to a point, where my graphic card stops working?

Another intriguing thing is that Nvidia stresses that it supports Neverwinter. It may have been there a longer time, but it is quite strange that my problems worsened, when I updated my nvidia drivers installing also that Geforce Experience software. Maybe I try to download an older driver version, maybe it works again?

Btw the error messages vary, however always stating that Direct3D seemed to be removed, does not work or similar things.

Guys, give me hope, a sign ... anything >.>

There is no hope, I check in on the forums looking for it here and there. It has been over 5 weeks and no resolution has come from this. Only option is to see if buying a new computer helps. Sorry.
