So, what exactly should I do?

I enjoyed PVP in module 4. It was fun on my DC, my CW, my SW, even my HR had fun in PVP. Low level, mid level, 50-59, even level 60 PVP was fun.

Now, I'm stupid close to just deleting EVERYTHING (I have 10 characters), and rolling 5 DC's and 5 TR's. Why? My HR's been nerfed completely in PVP. The ONLY thing I had going was Aimed Shot. It was OP, but it didn't need a 70% damage reduction.

My CW can't do anything. Why? It's a CONTROL Wizard, yet everyone is immune to control effects. I just got oneshot by a TR in PVP with 1/2 the GS as me. DC's just laugh at being 'controlled', they get down to 20% HP, then nuke heal back to 100%. I used to be able to grab those pesky permastealth TR's and knock them out of their rotation, now they're perma-dodging so the instant I see one, they vanish again. GWF used to be the only class that gave me problems because of unstoppable, but now I can't even get kills in PVP. I did one and I got 0 glory, 0 kills, 0 assists, and died 9 times. Why? Because I got oneshot by opponents I couldn't even see, and the ones I did see were in godmode due to instant nuke heals.

My GWF can't do anything. Why? Because I'm a faceroller. DC's laugh at the damage. I watched one with a 900 GS facetank me in a 40-49 PVP, and I have an 8k GS.

My GF is TR food. They pop one skill, and I'm dead. Never even saw the offending TR.

My TR is a DPS build, not a permastalth build. I can't kill anyone in PVP. Why? Because another TR oneshots me from stealth.

PVE isn't any better. My TR out-dpsed my HR on an epic boss. How much? My TR did a total of 5 mil damage through the run, the same squad with my HR, I did 900k. Difference in gear? TR had an 8.5k GS, my HR was at 14.5k.

So, someone give me a reason to keep playing. I've spent a lot of zen on this game int he past few months, it would be really stupid for me to just delete everything, but honestly, I'm looking at this as a huge waste of money. I may even go back to STO and shelf NW again. This is really irritating...

Balance is ever changing. It's especially apparent here because they're not especially good at balancing the numbers which is why classes become especially UP and OP. As for whether you should stay or not, I can't tell you that.

Haven't we had enough of these TR-hate threads?

Apparently not, because instead of fixing TR's, they made them worse.

    Why? It's a CONTROL Wizard

I hate this argument so much.

It isn't even a bad argument, but omg it's so incredibly overused.

It's actually really pertinent when complaining about not being able to effectively control in PvP though (as opposed to the context where it usually comes up about why CWs shouldn't be able to do so much PvE dps blahblah).

It's always a surprise of a kind for me to read about HRs not being able to score in PvP when they perma-stun and slice me up in a few seconds with my SW not being able to do squat. Being lower GS than me, too. Almost the same ridiculous OP level as TRs who oneshot me all the time after the module came on. If before that I could score in PvP with SW, now I'm totally sure I'm the weakest class there is at the moment. I love my class and it's depressing a bit to realize it.

I'm also a little confused about the HR mention. I don't play a ranged HR (so that may be the difference) but I'm doing just fine in PvP, even against rogues.

What's there to be confused about? It's just another complaint from an undergeared/underskilled player. Does his first mention of "Aimed Shot" not tell you just what type he is?
Stop making excuses. Be a man.
If you know something to be broken, stop using it.
Otherwise, you've got no right to be speaking of 'balance.'

You're not geared enough to be competitive, it's pretty normal for someone with GS 3 times higher than your TR to kill you quickly.

Ok, then. It sounds like you have your feats in the wrong place for your playstyle. Yes, a lot of things have been nerfed & yes, most of us have had to respec within the last 2-3 months.

But a lot of things have been buffed or changed to better reflect that class. Do I actually believe this? Yes, I do. This is about the classes working together. Of course, it's nice to put a feather in your cap & be recognized for doing well at something.

Last SP with my 14k trapper HR ran about 14M with a GWF beating me out at 16M+. Party makeup was 1 GF, 2 GWF, & 2 HR's. It was an unpleasant run, but if you're only doing 900k, you're either running LoL & stopping to chat/smell the daisies or placing your AoE's wrong.

    TL;DR
    It's you, dude.
    Not the game.
    Not the gear.

Not personally to the OP, and probably gonna get heat over it, but I just can't understand why/how players expect the non-bis PvP in this game to be balanced.

There are a lot of competitive PvP games from mirrored to more rock-paper-scissor types, Starcraft2, dota, lol, counterstrike...
What common to all of them is the 0 starting point where everyone always begin a match from the same position and no prior achievement (gear) is counted. And their single orientation towards PvP, they are made for it, they are balanced for it, they have tournaments with above of 10mil USD prise pools.
The other prominent in those games and especially the MOBAs is the player team work and understanding that some classes/types can't take another at a similar level of gear (classic rock-paper-scissor). They can and should help their team in one way or another but 1vs1 vs a specific class of the enemy will only result in death.

As I see it, this is even not close to one of those games, and never will be, either you gather gear and go PvP with that knowledge, and hope for close match, and some fun or don't bother.

So, back to the example, as far as i see your whole argument is that TRs are OP, You want to roll 5 TRs and 5DCs? you already have a 8.5gs TR. He is one-shot by another TR.. well...here is a good example that classes have nothing to do with anything, and even perma has nothing to do with it, most likely the one that one-shot you was not perma too, you probably just have very low tenacity from gear and he/she used a lashing blade.

So you, yourself just gave an example how TRs are not OP, or on the other hand, why you with your TR you didn't one-shot CW while dodged the CC effects ?
    Feasted on GFs ?
    One-shot other TR's from invis?

Does your SW get out-dpsed by TR in PvE ?
Your TR can out-tank and out-aggro your GF in epic lostmauth ? (hypothetical)

There are many balance issues, there will always be, I think i mentioned it above... either you learn to handle it and adopt - there are many builds / playstyles / PvP guilds to learn from or just accept it and have fun, otherwise, yes, stop playing and find something else to enjoy, its a game not a prison, and all those PvP related they killed me threads are just annoying.
If you want to give a real constructive feedback over specific skills/playstyle, there was/is a hundreds of pages thread that discussed (well at least some did)
and tested TR with examples and ACT (at least some did).

If you want the best way how to deal with one class with another class, either play the offending class and note how others kill you and learn from them, you have those 10, use them, or go to the class forums and then perhaps asking how to deal with something will be more constructive than a general 'they kill me in PvP' thread.

After playing over a year and seeing such threads on all classes at the same time at all times.. it's getting old. fast.

At what point? Providing a challenge for CWs in PvE and HRs/GWFs in PvP?

I am pretty sure you're lying and your main is CW. Rogues are viable class again and your "pets" no longer, deal with it.
