Foundry down?

The last few day when I log in it states the foundry is "unavailable"
Any idea why? (I'm level 20)

    They are removing the Foundry from the game, it's over. Kaputt













    I'm joking Foundry authors don't hurt me, but this happens at the start of each module IIRC.

    Every module release foundry is down for days while they re-publish foundry quests using the new mod.

    I hope they don't misplace mine, I just came back to neverwinter to finish an epic quest that I've put off for a while. Its a master piece.

    Maybe, maybe not.
    Often with module releases, some quests fail to re-publish due to new profanity filters, or if Cryptic introduced new bugs.

    All you can do is wait until Foundry is back up and available, and if your quest isn't re-published and searchable by then you can usually go into Foundry and re-publish it yourself -- once you've fixed any errors or bugs introduced by the new module.

    And when is the foundry going up? It's been 2 days already and not a single note about that from the higherups.

    I think there are a lot of those reported exploit foundries being removed with the new module implemented. This is a good thing. I can wait a few days as these are filtered through so what's left is quality content.

    Maybe some of them? But I've seen some "fast review" while checking "best" tab today.

    They'll be republished gradually over the next while. You'll see the catalogue getting more fleshed out.

    What about getting into the foundry editor. Any word (or theories based on past experience) when that might happen?

    It would have been nice just to have a heads up that the foundry was going down and possibly an estimation of when we can expect it back. Communication with customers is a good thing and is pretty darn cheap.

    They did. They said Module 5 was being released.
    Every module release Foundry is disabled for anywhere from several days to several weeks.

    How do you access Foundry at all, by the way?
    I used to hit the "L" key, this used to open a window with different options such as Leaderboard, and also including the Foundry. Now the windows only includes Zen market advertisements.

    Not it's a separate tab right of the Queue tab.

    It's called Catalog, iirc.

    in the L menu there's an option that says "inifinte adventures with the foundry" in the middle right part of the window, I can access the menu from there.

    The "L" screen got a facelift in the new patch. This is how it looks now:

    Nothing from the home screen links directly to the Foundry menu. You now have to know that "Catalog" means "Foundry."

    =o I tried it yesterday and the last of the 3 windows said "infinite adventures with the foundry" and if you clicked on it you would go to the regular foundry menu...

    Those might be dynamic and change every time you open the home page. I tune out most of the visual stuff unless I'm looking for something specific.

    It's kinda stupid it is called "Catalog", very unclear.
