Known Issue: Server Instability

Hi all,

Unfortunately an issue with the servers has appeared today that is causing some players to be disconnected form the game or unable to start the game. We are aware of the current server instability issues and our engineers are looking into this issue as we speak. We will continue to keep you updated regarding this situation here on the forums as well as on our social channels.

Sorry for the inconvenience, we hope to have this issue resolved shortly.

    have you make sure all plugs are plugged in securely?
    how about restarting?
    how about clearing the cache?

    lol lets hope it doesn't get to that point cause off and on again for NW servers means 2 hrs of downtime

    Noooo! , sorry every time I see people having computer problems that is the first thing I say , it's from this TV show that used to be on in the UK xD

    I once healed my PC, by putting a healing - hammerfist onto it. Brute force sometimes works wonders.

    I can not get in either game or gateway... I get one of two errors

    "Too many attempts; please try again later" or "Invalid Username/Password"

    I have not been able to get in all day, since this morning... what a fun saturday...

    Im getting the same thing on my girlfriends account and my two sons... 4 different accounts with same type issues

    I got disconnected about 30 times today but I can get back in within a minutes or so. Still it is getting very annoying for me since I just spend $100 today to buy Sen ! I hope this problem is only temporary.

    Seems a lot better now than it was about at about 330pst. Was getting kicked every 6 or 7 minutes then. Been on for 30 now, no problems.

    So I was up to date and fine.. the server crashes. you guys fix it and now I have to download a 2438MB patch... are you kidding. none of my friends had to do that.. what the hell.

    Don't know but it -sounds- like you chose the verify option on the crash note screen, without realizing it. That's the only time it will look like it is patching when there are no later files than you have.

    No all I did was open my Launcher. let it load and it did the normal patching and now it is doing that. I didn't touch a single thing.

    Ok. I thought maybe when you mentioned the server crashing (it didn't, it just dropped some connections) you actually meant your client crashed. When that happens you get this 'OOPS!' pop-up screen. On that screen is a check box to force a verify at next login.

    Just trying to help. What I can say for sure is that there was no patch, not even for you. What happened is your files got borked or were perceived to be borked and the server fixed it when you logged in.

    Server is acting up again . Can't stay logged in for longer than about 3 minutes

    Does not look like it's been resolved. Now having problems with logging in - taking around 15 mins to log in. Then once logged in immense lag then get disconnected again.

    Hi all.

    Impossible to play correctly. Laggs and disconnects are the norm now for me since Monday.

    During the work days I could connect at lunch times, but couldn't play during the evening (GMT).

    Can play correctly even now !!!

    Some friends can play without problems (also in Europe) but their tracert doesn't use cogentco so I don't know if this is the cause for me

    Can't connect anymore now :-(

    Solved: I changed my IP address and the game works great without any disconnects issues :o

    Yeah that hasn't helped me. I can't stay logged in long enough to collect my professions now.

    Graphics on low settings are slow to sharpen, often just the polygons are visible, lots of tile issues around effects, notably the illusionists. Foundry publishing Failed multiple times. This PC can run Sims 4 on maximum settings, and am on a 1GB LAN with a 1482 MBps download speed on a smartphone. Tower, two laptops, one of which running HD Netflix. I'm pretty sure this is server side.

    It has to be server side. I can't stay logged in long enough to do anything. Netflix,Hulu, xbox live all fine.

    Having issues. DCing a lot and rubber banding. I've tried restarting the internet modem. I've never had this issue before.

    I can not connect/login If I am able to login I cannot get to pick character screen
    The name of my game icon has changed also to a letter B when it used to say neverwinter and this was not changed by me or anyone else. There is no viruses or malware on my pc either

    Its unclear what has happened from Thursday till now BUT something has gone wrong! I can play left for dead fine left for dead 2 fine league of legends fine MW3 fine and guild wars 2 fine, Then I try Neverwinter and o my the problems start from disconnects to unable to login to logging to never getting to character select screen. If i manage to login and make it into the game about 10 sec in I get server not responding. this needs fixed as I am sure I lost all my coins from praying on 10 toons now. This is a new problem for me As I have never had days of problems from this game and been here since beta!

    Update: I am now at work and can only use the gateway and its lagging really bad also. Sometimes even logs me out. O my this problem is bad!

    Hi, i posted in bug forums that ive been lagging massively today. I don't crash like eysterday so often but the lag doesnt let me to play well. Server not responding.. appears every 15 secs and... then making me to restart or exit.

    I don't know if it's related, but we (everyone?) keep seeing "Publish Failed" from the Foundry editor. Could someone check to see if the Foundry server can see the live servers?

    I'm getting the same Publish Failure as well... Something definitely seems broken between the foundry and live server.
