I have a bound Coalescant Ward on one of my alts and I want to upgrade an enchant on my main with it but I am worried that if I use that ward on my enchant it will be bound to that character making it impossible to use on my main .

Thanks for any info you guys can give .

That ward should be account-bound anyway, but using bound wards is not supposed to create bound enchants, not even bound to account.

If you obtained the ward via a coffer or the WB, it's BtA and can be stored in your account bank to be used between characters on the same account. However, the enchantments themselves are not bound in any way.

Enchantments never become bound, (the exception being special ones from the various packs, like the bright energy enchant), so you'll be fine. Heck, even the barkshield shards, which *are* bind on pickup, when combined, produce an unbound lesser barkshield enchantment.

They do, if you refine them with bound stuff on an account that is on probation.

I think there's a bug where if you use bound shards as the catalyst then the enchantment will be too.

I got a Coal ward from the coffer and it was BtA. I used it on 4 vorpal shards and the newly created enchantment wasn't bound to me.
