    It's really "Mod 4 Part 2".

Which is fine with me, actually. I still don't have anything at legendary, not even artifacts. I could use some more time to level up my gear.

welcome to neverwinter, a game that makes sure you neverwin-ter.

2 boons which are +25% effectiveness for the already established 5th ToD boon, each.
    offhand & neck artifacts.
    i think a new t2/3 set...
    a dungeon...

followed by months upon months of copy & paste mounts, loathing of RNG, admitting defeat and purchasing off of the AH, RP grinding and the uncanny ability to make players question why they continue to play.

Tbh I'm not sure why it's going to take so long to release when it looks pretty much all done. Of course some polish needs to be done and it'd be nice for boon 6 and 7 to be better than a quarter of a boon each, but compared to other modules it seems pretty much finished unless there's some surprise coming which would be nice. Or some sort of extra raid functionality which would also make sense. It sucks that the raid probably will lack the proper testing though.

There's not even three months since they released Mod 4. You shouldn't expect much.

@OP , that isn't all we are getting , we are getting a bunch of new strung out time consuming dailies too , hooray!

    neverwin

Finally it makes sense why after several hundred Epic shore runs , literally thousands of Rothe valley and Whispering cavern Dragon HE's and between 150 and 200 epic Lostmauth runs I still had to buy a artifact belt because none ever wanted to drop for me , RNG in this game is like a casino ... the house always wins xD

I believe part of the timing has to do with it coinciding with the "official" D&D release as well...

Well hopefully they're at least working on other things even if its on "big things for mod 6". Though I do wonder if people will stay around considering they seem to like new content less and less. I still get told from others that I'm wasting my time, though I'm doing that on more than just neverwinter tbh. ):

TBH, I feel that the players have diverse enough interests, and come and go with enough frequency, that everything is new to someone somewhere. Frankly, (and of course this is purely my opinion), I think that playing to complete everything as fast as possible is doing yourself a disservice - you'll get burnt out and feel dissatisfied with the game.

In some way I'm glad I did since now I'm not sure there's as much room to grow. I thought the whole point was to compete to be the best you can =/

Yes play for fun. If its fun for you to have 5 legendary artifacts then by all means go for it. If its fun for you to do dailys or whatever then do that. The point of playing isnt to win some imaginary goal but to have fun. I have 5 legendary items and 20.7k gearscore on my warlock because I love improving my characters and making them the best they can be. That is to me, fun :p

the rng is broken and streaky.
it seems to recall itself so basically getting a good loot is really difficult but if for some strange reasons you have a good seed you will always drop for 3-4 runs in a row.
