Respen's Marvelous Game & Season of Dragons

Greetings adventurers!
As I'm sure many of you know, Season of Dragons is still in full swing! Our current goal centers around our Twitter account @NeverwinterGame.
If @NeverwinterGame can get 40,000 followers by Wednesday 11/10, we'll bring back the Respen's Marvelous Game event!
Making a Twitter account is easy and (more importantly) completely free. We also do tons of giveaways for posters, autographed R.A. Salvatore novels, Dragonborn Legend Packs, and more!
We're currently at 36,731 followers, so we've got a ways to go, but I have no doubt that if we pull together as the awesome community we are, we'll smash that goal and be home in time for dinner...which will, of course, be eaten as we triumphantly enjoy the awesomeness that is Respen's Marvelous Game.
If you're a little apprehensive about making a Twitter account for yourself, why not make one for your Neverwinter Character? Also, if you'd rather not use your personal email, there are plenty of places where you can make an email account for free.

Ha! I named my Neverwinter character after my Twitter account (which was named for my old P&P D&D character)

It's a lofty goal, yes, but I believe in us as a community. If we pull together, we can totally reach this.
As for the end-game experience our devs are hard at work every day to make Neverwinter the best it can be. What does the future hold? Only time will tell
I'm thrilled you enjoyed Respen's (I certainly did too!), but I just think about all of the people who haven't gotten to experience it yet and I want them to know how awesome it is. We're currently at 36,731 followers, so we've made some headway, but let's not let up! Onward to Respen's Return!

Yeah pretty much free advertising. Most people will not create an account just for this, and use an existing one and word of mouth (read : friends of people who like) advertising is the best kind. Probably the same reason why that had a similar promotion for facebook recently too xD

Er not be a nitpicker but hasn't the 11/10 been already? Or is this a case of american dates being backwards and it is actually the 10 of November?

I think it's the 10th of November , Respens event is actually up on the live calendar so I'm guessing we get the event whether we hit the target or not.
how about a way to figure out how to to lessen the grind/rng for ToD?

Yeah, these goals are a long stretch, we barely got 2500 on the last live stream and last I checked, the new goals are asking a whole lot more.
Is that 11th October or November 10th? I am British.
Was Respen the one with the Pocket Pet? I'd like one of those for my other characters, I only managed to get two. And being a model on an AD&D Battle Mat was fun - the first few dozen times.
But, sorry dude, some of us are too old for that social media nonsense. I still type full sentences with grammar and punctuation when I send texts on my 'phone. I feel it is rude, ignorant and disrespectful not to. I could never say anything in 128 characters. And information conveyed in so little text is usually not worth having. "I am boiling an egg." "I have eaten my breakfast." "I am going out through the door."
I have no use for Twitter, Facebook, Google Plus or any of that stuff. I even hate being spammed by YAHOO! for my mobile 'phone number, so I am never going to make yet-another-e-mail-account. Being forced to change my passwords on two accounts is bad enough.
And the spam e-mails I get asking me if I know some famous person, like Brad Pitt, Stephen Fry etc is irritating enough anyway. OF COURSE I DO NOT KNOW THEM!!! HOW COULD I?
What is the benefit of Neverwinter having a Twitter account, anyway? Why is that good for the company or the game?
But please, by all means please bring back the Respen's Marvelous Game Event. No need to try and bribe people to become followers.

It is the adorable pet event. Kind of hope we don't reach the target since I have a few to sell on a separate account :P
This 'event' isn't aimed at you. Though I do find it odd that people would want to have companies as part of their social feed, I never really liked the sort of forced advertisement and your friends probably don't want to see such things. It's something that would make me silence you if I was really part of it, though I'm not.
As for what's the advantage of a twitter account, you can follow and get up to date information and provide feedback, though I'm not sure why they keep it more up to date then their own forums. Lastly companies utilising social media is certainly not something new, lots of companies do it. In some ways it's nice to get bonuses, but still ew.

Man i really dont know who the decision maker for this game is, he is consistently looking for ways to exploit players.
So the concept is for you guys to release the event, instead you first have to use the users to boost up your player base? cant wait for this game on consoles, my review is going to be well detailed.
It's not that I disagree with you in general, but if they gave the rewards anyway, what's the incentive to take part at all.
Personally I feel more left out that we didn't get the bazaar consumable. I hope we can still get it at some point. We can always get respens another time anyway so it's not a huge deal to me. It's the same as before nayway with the same rewards unless it was still a wip to add new stuff. I felt like when they rereleased the waukeens event it was a little too soon for example, though it was nice to get a supply of spare gold pants and cloaks. Then again I guess it's been longer than I realised that the respen event last came. Still it's not like it's never coming back.
What was the bazaar consumable again? Didnt catch it..
