    Hey guys,

You may have gotten a recent email from us regarding the transferring of your ZEN. This is a legitimate email, and in no ways does it mean you need to actually spend your ZEN.

We are removing the wallet function and working on a more Arc integrated system, which means that you will need to transfer your ZEN from your wallet, to a game of your choice to avoid any potential delays.

The wallet will go away, but your funds will still be available. We're simply sending this message out so you do not experience any delays in using the contents of your wallet when it does. By moving it over now, you should not experience any delays when this change goes live. I can't say for certain when or how long, or even if there will be delays when the wallet goes away, but this will help those that do not want deal with that when it happens.

    Thanks for the reply Akro.

Question: will you be having any transfer reward events between now and then? The only reason I leave zen in my wallet is to participate in these events. If no I will certainly get it tansfered over right away. Thanks!

While I can't say for certain, I've been told that it seems unlikely that we'll be doing something like that in the near future. My advice: follow the email's instructions and transfer. That way, you're protected against any delays and the like. :)

So you will be no longer to just buy x amount of zen and distribute it to which ever pwe game you want? You will only be able to buy for one specific game at a time? If so that really sucks...

I'm quite curious what impact this has on the relationship with Peanut Labs, since that Zen is deposited into the Wallet, not designated for any game at the time it is earned. It would require a total overhaul of that interface if they're keeping it as a Zen-earning option.

I too like the option to buy my Zen on sale and dole it out as needed. I hope there will be a "storage" option in Arc soon.

    From the email newsletter:

    Wallet_10152014_main_zpsea5c1a7a.jpg

"We've noticed that you still have ZEN sitting in your Arc Wallet. The Arc Wallet system will be going away soon, but we'll have more details on that later. In the meantime, don't let your hard earned money go to waste. There are tons of amazing items available. Log in and transfer your ZEN to one of your favorite games today!"

    1) I didn't know Zen could expire.
    2) I liked the wallet to use for buying Zen on sale and transferring during special giveaways.
    3) If you play more than one game, you'll now have to buy amounts separately, which may make you miss out on Zen sale bonuses. (Tho I only play one game, and perhaps it forces people to move everything in the wallet to one game, and not spread Zen around?)

Suggestions: Do Not wipe out peoples wallets or expire the Zen. When the deadline hits move the amount into the last game they played. Otherwise there will be players returning from a long break that will be seriously seriously angry. Also, there are many places around the world where credit deletion is not a good thing for a company to do. (I'll leave it at that.)

Zen for Neverwinter may need to be renamed. Otherwise other game players returning may accidentally buy 'Zen' thinking it's still the universal currency. (Since there will be no wallet, currency must go immediately to a game.)

Please, no flaming or legal arguments or whatever breaks rules. It does say they'll explain the end of the Wallet, beforehand. Just any thoughts or suggestions. Thank you. :)

Akro says wallet is going away but Zen won't expire. If you leave it in the wallet that is about to be disabled, you can transfer it to a game at a later stage but there may be delays.

Tyvm. I guess maybe the email graphic should've used different language than 'EXPIRE!'.
(their caps, exclamation point and boldface). Hopefully the next email will fix that.

or you can not use the arc wallet but the old one.
    1. don't login at forums.
    2. click on peanut labs.
    3. click on charge zen(forum top right)
    4. login.
you are now at the old wallet, where you can split your money between games.

when are they going to fix the charge zen, so you can send it where you want, instead of having to choose a game before you buy?
it's only been like that since ARC.
Before you could split your zen to different games

I currently use the wallet to buy in $200 blocks when the sales are going on and distribute it as I need it to games I am playing. I get a couple extra zen that way. I cannot see myself buying Zen if I am going to be forced to buy in $100 max blocks and it will be locked to 1 game and not distributable.

That and I really dislike the Arc client and only use it when I have a code I need to enter.

Edit: Just to be clear, it was not an Ultimatum. It was a fact. Have a nice day.

    Hey Akro,

    Whoever told you that lied.

So, I transferred my Zen, and now I'm annoyed, and exceedingly disinclined to go out and buy more.

    ^^this

NOT pleased they pull this stunt right after announcing all zen needs to be immediately transferred out of wallets due to wallets being removed.

Will NOT be participating in this scam on general principle.

    Not Akro's fault surely.
