I have been playing this game for about a month and have been following Trace's Guide to AD Creation. One of his suggestions that works for me is selling Potion of Major Healing (PoMH). At the end of the siege event PoMHs were briskly selling at 3000 AD per stack. Now, almost a week later, stacks of PoMH are selling for 1900 AD.
Is this a normal volatility and price range for PoMH, or, are these price ranges new? Any old timers care to share their opinion and experience?

Never bothered with buying potions for gold to resell, but have noticed steady deflation of consumables like skill kits and smaller potions where I'm just selling off unneeded items from my Leadership boxes. Demand for the smaller potions decreases when people have levelled out of needing them.
Events involving intense and steady combat, such as CTA or the siege, do increase demand for potions because players are going through more of them than normal. Your decreased sales would reflect some of that.
A big part of deflation in consumables is based on the number of people selling them, and the way they undercut each other, and also the AH's recommended pricing based on the undercut prices. If the AH says to post a stack of potions for 1900AD, people are not usually going to post them for 3000 instead.
There is also less AD floating around in general. Enchant prices coming down, etc.
You may see some recovery when there's another CTA, or this may be the new normal.
1900 per stack is very low.
I've been selling those potions for almost a year now and they are freely going between 2500 and 5000, not often going below and above this. But their prices have always been very volatile.
If anything, these past months, their value has decreased a bit : they are rarely above 4000 and often below 3000 ...
But today fall in price is not due to a shortage of AD A week ago they were selling in minutes at 3K, so there's no objective reason to see them at 2K now, except for one player putting 40 or so stacks at this price. Wait and it will go up.
I know I'm not selling if their price is below 2600-2700, not worth my time. But gold is easier to get since mod4 so I will maybe lessen my limit eventually ...

Uh yeah, you can always look at the current listings for clues as to what happened. Yup.
Another effect was the introduction of arti weapons and belts as it was possible to buy blues on the AH, turn them into gold, turn the gold into pots and the pots into more AD than you spent so likely the price went up at the start of Mod4 because there were less cheap blues on the AH.
Assuming I don't do a dungeon I barely use 1 to 3 healing potions a day. I just find my gear and my lifesteal are good enough to compensate for damage that i take, even in IWD. That might explain the price drop.

Thanks for the responses. I emailed a couple of players that would consistently buy my listings, wondering if the PoMH was actually purchased for consumption, or, being resold to vendors for gold. One responded that he used the pots while playing. As a new player to the game I found that interesting.
As of today it looks as though prices are still holding at 2000-2089 per stack. I'll continue to monitor while researching alternative sources for AD generation. Any suggestions that you wouldn't mind sharing?
