Any good DC guide here?

I want to start a DC, primarily to get the DC artifact for my other characters. Or even play it more if I like it :)
However I have absolutely no idea how DC works, hat race, stats I should pick... What build to go for...
So any useful DC guide around here? Have not found one yet :/

    The Kaelac guide is pretty comprehensive, but be aware that they are making changes to cleric in mod 5 so if you plan on playing it for a while, be aware that the changes might require guides to be revised.

    Speaking of the artifact, I have noticed that a lot of people use the cleric artifact, which made certain classes even more powerful but ironically the dc even less valuable.

    Not really. My TRs being able to spit out two Whirlwinds in a row can clear some adds, but it's no substitute for what a DC does.

    It's slightly old and may require a serious update (mostly on the gear side because there's been new stuff since then) but the build and the mechanics it relies on are still accurate. :)

    He was probably making a reference to SWs spamming tyrannical thread to instantly clear a boss room with 50 adds (been there, seen that, no kidding, the whole CN final boss adds lasted a glorious unique second), or why not, wizards spamming oppressive force, rendering monsters passive waiting for their death, or tanks spamming their dailies and entering god mode... Ironically the only class which really doesn't have any use for this artifact is the cleric one, i mean, you can use it but it's clearly suboptimal, an extra hallowed ground on a weak pull of mobs isn't a game changer at all and you'd do a better job with the vanguard's banner.
