Cannot target Toxilus the Despoiler Dragon ever

I have done this HE on the new map probably a dozen or more times and not once have I been able to target the Dragon , I end up having to equip AOE skills just to do damage , I have had this bug once or twice with regular Tyranny of dragon Dragon HE's but with Toxilus the Despoiler it is literally every single time I cannot target him , I can target the other dragons with no issues.

    Try this...it seems to be some kind of non released aggro. If you cannot target...quick find something close to it and kill it. It seems passing close but not close enough for them to attack triggers it.

    Odd, I'm not getting it every time with a certain dragon. Its often enough though, that its very annoying.

    What seems to be happening is that the target area is sometimes just off for the dragons. Earlier when fighting them I notice that the targeting marker highlights red way up above the dragon. If I faced way up I could attack the dragon with my single target powers. Of course you can't see the red circles doing that. :( Another time the marker was behind where it should be. And others I couldn't find it at all. I suppose it could be two separate bugs. Both an agro issue with that dragon and a targetting issue with dragons in general.

    The fix cayapp mentioned works for me a sometimes, but not always. I've heard other say letting the dragon hit you (or even knock you out) fixed theirs. Whatever the bug is, and whatever is causing it... I hope they fix it soon.

    I get that with him and one other though I cannot remember if he was green or black. Kill a few adds and it seems to fix it, just annoying when the game does not see it as an enemy whilst the dragon is eyeing you like a chicken finger.

    This is really odd, but I hit the "C" key to open up the Character Menu to swap out a Power or two for some AoE. I almost Immediately had to exit (hit "C" again) to dodge a Red Circle Of Doom. As soon as I exited the Character Menu I could target him normally. It may have been some weird fluke, but it DID work. I plan to try this again next time I cannot target a Dragon (it happens to me in the ToD Campaign as well, although much less often).

    Oh I've tried all the stuff mentioned here like killing near by mobs and taking damage and even let the dragon kill me , I even changed character then logged back in but no luck and yes it is literally just that one dragon every time , I just did a forced verify so I'll report back if that works lol.

    Same issue for me. I already reported a similar case on preview when fighting the Ebon Downs dragon.
    I can't even damage the dragon with area powers like Rain of Arrows and Thorn Ward doesn't seem to find it either. I can still get Great Success by taking all the damage I can ;)

    Killing another monster fixes the darn bug, weird having to run from a dragon to kill a kobold or some simmilar ...
    For my HR.
    Not really a problem with my cw, she aoe kills anyway.
    I hope this gets fixed soon.
    Bards are awesome ... music and great tales off adventures.

    This issue was reported during mod 4 testing on several of the campaign dragons. The only solutions that were found were to kill something close by but out of the HE range. If you have the HE indicator on the right side of you screen your too close.

    Been reported to work un-equipping and re-equipping your weapon(s) ( not sure if both MH and OF or just MH, never tried it).

    Note Getting attacked, taking damage or getting killed by said invincible dragon does not reset whatever it is that needs to be reset to allow you to target.

    I've had this issues too. It's not just that one dragon either. It works itself out after about 30 seconds or so without me doing really anything other than run around thowing pure AoE hits out - which DO hit the dragon. I just can't target it directly with any powers until it sorta turns on, so to speak. It's not consistent, that is, it doesn't happen every time, but it does happen now and then.

    Yea...happens to me too...has happened a few times on the ToD HEs too.
    Hoping for improvements...

    I've had this happen to me as well with several dragons in the ToD campaign, I've realized that if i go and get hit by him then I'm able to target, so just stand in some red stuff and then attack away no need to switch powers.

    I had this happen to me also yesterday with a couple of the dragons in Siege of Neverwinter. Don't know what I did to fix it as I just kept moving and trying my buttons and it would eventually work.

    On the HR class, I think it's simply killing something outside the HE using Split Shot that eventually unsticks the dragon targetting. I've had similar experiences, in ToD and the Siege.

    1: You can try switching to melee then back this fixes it most times for me ()fire off an at will (HR)
    2: You can let the dragon hit you and kill you then go back this works also for me it did on 5 occasions
    3: try targeting over it under it to the left and right usually there is a 1cm part you can target and once you get the one shot off your fine

    Reported this last night via ticket and via Bug report and they know about it and didnt get fixed in todays 61mb patch either guessing not worth there time to fix it for 7 day event,

    All the dragons worked fine for me yesterday. Today some are
    occasionally untargetable. Am using AoE and circling around them
    until it works. I think triggering the blue area by surrounding him
    helps show his full targeting circle. Not certain. (I'm CW)
