Can anyone recommend equipment for a non augment main pet? I'm using the Angel currently and was wondering what people were equipping those with. If there is another thread on this already, please link it so I can take a look.

Use Bonding runestone it have best stats from runestones and good passive bonus. I recommend ancient items (from CN) like Ancient Slavemaster Ring of Control or what you need :) Also which stat do you want max for example if you want max power/crit and companion have icon slot so you use Fomorian Icon from MC, that icon have highest stats for power/crit.

Just a question regarding the incoming healing bonuses; does this influence life steal and regeneration incoming healing? The new battlefield medic could suit my PvP build (i know open world is basically dead, but meh i want to finally get some companions other then a stone).

    I use

    ioun stone of allure
Wild hunt rider, i have a feeling its up more often than it should be
    Wisp

And then it varies some because I put in the wisp, cantankerous mage, the rust monster, blink dog and some other trash in when I can be bothered to change it for a specific circumstance. The only companion I regret getting is the phoera.

I don't have one but I can see the cockatrice being really good, not for dps directly but it would make your life easier and let you run a few steps and fire instead of waiting on your dodge to end.

Question: Which augment pet is best? I'm considering the Ioun Stone of Allure, Dragon Ioun Stone, Cat, and Black Ice Ioun Stone as options. It seems like everyone here uses the Ioun Stone of Allure, but perhaps the Black Ice Ioun Stone or Dragon Ioun Stone would be better? Any thoughts?

Anyways, my current Companion setup is:
    Laughing Skull
    Ioun Stone of Allure
Wild Hunt Rider (discussion in this thread pretty much convinced me to get one)
    Erinyes of Belial
    Alchemist Experimenter

Dragon Ioun stone probably better than the Allure. Has anyone seen the slow effect? Its like the lochness monster.
But its hard to get you have to open so many lockbox.

Black Ice is the same old story. Its giving you more stat but less power.

    - one of the best augment companions (I have maxed power (1.8k) crit (600) recovery (400))

Would you mind sharing exactly what ruin stones, ring, neck, icon, and enchantments you used to get the above?

    Thank you.

Ancient Slavemaster's Ring of Contro & Ancient Fugitive's Necklace of Revolt & Icon of the Sacred Hand

All with r9-r10 radiants, bonding runestones. (Idk what I had in that time but I think just regular not greater) If I would be PvE now I would use Ring of Pain and Cult's Necklace just to max power. I switched to PvP so Im using defensive items for hp, defense, deflect.
