I was salvaging an infernal tunic and pressed change appearance to see if it looked cool first. I wasnt overly impressed so I salvaged the item but with the change appearance window still up. The Notification Window popped up asking me if I wanted to salvage the INFERNAL TUNIC, I confirmed and immedietly my Fabled lliyenbruen robes with Perfect Thunderhead enchantment and Rank 8 Black Ice were salvaged.
This was NOT due to operator error and was completely outside of the realm of my control. I have submitted a troublecall with cutsomer support and a bug report through the GM help option. I have been getting the run around with customer support and they basically sent back a standardized message saying that I am out of luck. I asked them to roll my account back as this was not operator error and again I received a standardized message stating they can do nothing for me.
These items were irreplacable and a large investment into the game. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated I am completely at a loss here and do not know what to do.
OK kinda sorta same issue here. I refined my black ice boots to corrupted black ice boots with my level 10 cruel enchantment. long story short I lost the enchantment and am now SOL. customer service was no help first reply was canned answer not even relevant second answer was NO HELP and they informed me they couldn't do anything to resolve isse. Yep no warning no disclamer etc before I upgraded the boots I'm just out a level 10 item that took forever to refine.

You'll not get Support on the forums as this is the Bug Report forum. You'll need to make a GM Ticket in game on the affected character. Do this by pressing ESCAPE, then HELP, then Request GM Help -- Do not choose the first category, Bug Reports, as then it won't be sent to the Game Masters. For this issue, file it as Items instead.
Remember, Bug Reports go to the QA Developers, who do not respond to them (except in super rare cases where they need to know more for their work). The QA Developers cannot resolve in game issues, such as lost items or behavior reports. GM and Support Tickets, on the other hand, go to the Support Personnel, who will respond within a few business days.
