Insane lag

I have had a few random game crashes over the year+ I've been playing. And some normal lags in CN/DK or whatever.

But the last week I've been crashing a lot, and had some odd lags. Today however, is just unplayable.

Opening the game client window takes longer than usual. After submitting my login info it takes longer than usual. Loading screen takes, well everything takes longer than usual.

When I finally get loaded into the game, which also takes 5 minutes longer in the loading screen, I do not have a friends list. I cannot mount up, chat and if I attack adds, I deal no damage or take aggro (I'm not really doing what I see myself doing)

Then rubberband pulls me back 300 feet. People riding past me on invisible mounts. My ping standing still at 333 and when it jumps, it goes from 200 to 2000. I tried EU proxy and it was even worse, not even moving I kept flying around with 3k ping.

I have tried all I can think of, including: router restart, closing apps I don't need, uninstalling some new programs and updating my GPU driver, going crossfire and without, rebooting PC several times, restarting the game a lot of times.

Internet outside of the game works perfectly.

Anyone have these issues and/or knows how to fix it?!

    Ok now I can't even stay in game rubberbanding. Timeout to gameserver and I get booted. Seriously, am I alone with this <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>?!

    After the new expansion came out, I've had lots of lag/rubberbanding too. Only on my Warlock tho.. My PC is rigged to handle max settings, and I had to reduce the settings to "Low" to get the game playable.

    You're telling him from my POV, or are you also experiencing lag from today?

    I tried US proxy even though I am from EU. And now I can at least do my dailys. Still having silly rubberbanding and it's a painful process. Could not do anything but simple fetch quests like this.

    I am willing to reinstall the whole game if anyone think it might help.

    Many many people from the EU are reporting lag today. Haven't seen many pathpings or traceroutes to see if it's server or route.

    Please perform the tests (and post the results) outlined in the OP of this sticky. It would help in determining where the issue is occurring, since this does appear to be regional from the posts so far in this thread.

    Its not the routing. Im in EU with normal tracert with 120ms. Its the gameservers.

    EU, Sweden. I never had this huge lags in this game before. I did a Tuern skirmish and one sec we were fighing adds and the next I was back at the first campfire with 0 damage. It took me like 10 min just to get to the chest after the boss was killed (without me because I was still trying to get there).

    i have problems with conection and lag today , not a problem of my router or line , is the game .

    Nope proxies didn't do it for me.. Can any officials rate my tracert values? Well, might not be important since a lot of people are having silly amounts of lag today.

    Proxies weren't fixing the problem for me either. I can tell it's getting worse and worse, 5 hours ago it happened once every 20 30 sec... now pretty much every few secs.

    It seems to be from busy areas specifically, and appears to be server lag, not wide area network slowdown.

    I figured it wasn't so bad, gave me a good reason to do something else :P

    But a few hours later I'm back and disappointed to see that nothing has happened. Meh

    Wtf? Still not fixed... ALL DAY long like this? Seriously...

    It's not just slow.. It is UNPLAYABLE! I cant even go to the summer fest to get my daily token ffs!!
