UI Buzz Kill Vendors (buy one a time)

I started of with 3850 of Kessell's Sigil, 17 minutes later - still here clicking away. Why oh NWO Gods oh why do you make us buy ONE A TIME?! Please get rid of this particular UI tediousness and add slider bar to ALL Bounty Master & Vendor UIs so that we can purchase more than one a time.

Pretty please with sugar on top? :D

"beckylunatic" Gateway AH should have column headers to sort by buyout, bid, end time, quantity, etc. These disappeared iirc with the module launch. It's obnoxious.

    ^^This - Great suggestion

Summer festival flower bag buying is so tedious. This would be such a nice quality-of-experience addition to enhance player efficiency (more time playing - less time wasted on UI)

LOL Seconded. Really seems kinda silly that these vendors don't have a slider already.

And PLEASE for the Love Of Gygax let those Sliders go up to AT LEAST 99, if not 999.

Keep <enter> pressed, click the item you want to buy like a loonie. Still annoying, but not as bad as otherwise.

This is exactly what I do. In the vendor buy page, I highlight the item I want and then I hold down ENTER key and then spam left-click the Buy button. It's not a solution but helps in the mean-time.

Enter sounds like it could be a good trick, I'll give it a try soon. :D

1,961 Flower Petals I'd like to turn into Squash at the vendor in Summerfest. Why you make us click 653 times to do this?!?! 653 clicks, just standing there at the same vendor. BLECH!

    So brutal :(

A slider bar for all vendor items would be good - perhaps change the current buy button to "buy one" and add a "buy multiple" option that brings up the slider.

What I don't understand is, they have this already for the Redcap potion at the bounty vendor in Sharandar. How hard would it be to just finish the job, so to speak, and have it with all of the bounty items

Stop trying so hard to invent a better wheel. There are some majorly flawed concepts in use in NWO, and the only logical reason for it is they are hell bent on not using the tested, tried and true concepts other MMOs use. They are tried and tested for a reason...

Usually it involves money, but in this case, you can't even buy your way through this faster. Grinds are one thing - you can make them fun if you try I guess - but a grind at a vendor? This stuff is just begging to be macroed (and you can bet most people are doing so)

I wanted to do that but... the items in the stores are most of the times not in the same place, so having 1 button for only 1 store is... NAH

One does have a lot of time to think when you're repetitively clicking something over 500x in one sitting.... Fantasizing about being putting my mouse on auto pilot :( This <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> is sooo boring.

ADD: Yes we all know that any automation is against TOS not saying I would ever do that, just that it's a thought that crosses my mind when stuck in the click hell.

Just spitballing here, but maybe it's intended to dissuade one from accumulating a lot of these currencies - perhaps they want you to spend them sooner, and as a deterrent, make spending lots of them frustrating.

If I were to hold in the Enter key, and I couldn't buy any more of an item....
I can just see myself spending tons on something useless.

They should also enable us to buy multiple things from the auction house at once, as well as as buy only a part of a stack. And allow using full stacks (or simply "use everything i have") for refining.

Just checking in to see if we have any PW replies yet..... XD Please add slider bar to all vendors for all items. Or just a text box for us to type in exactly how many we want, so no one can come back at you and say "WAHHHHHH!!! I didnt mean to buy that many! I want my money back," :P

I hope some one at Cryptic is listening to this. We've been asking for this for a while. I imagine this isn't that hard to implement.

Nah, buying things in mmo's always took it's time, with WoW being the exception... Having to click often, also cuts out the botting i'd assume, or at least makes it harder.

Hopefully, fingers crossed tight- we get some of the tediousness of the UIs relieved in Mod5. XD Please consider adding slider options so we don't have to be a fixture and can get back to the action!

Funny, when you yourself basically say that you are too lazy to click often, you scold others for defending possibly lazy devs.
There is a reason you can only buy 1 or, in case of health pots, 20, at a time.
It might not be in your interest, but it is there.

So you're telling me there's a reason why I can only trade Fomorian Concotion for Golden Crescents one Crescent at a time? You're telling me there's a reason for this? OK, what's the reason? Make my day!

Bots actually click much better and much faster than humans. I'd say it rather cuts the humaning(?).

Also, it's terrible network practice, every time i click to buy I generate packets. Buying an item 500 times means I sent 500 extra packets, instead of sending one with a slightly longer payload. The more/faster I click, the more I clog their (already suffering) network connection, and the more requests the servers have to process.

Of course, I as an individual can't really harm their network/processing load, but if we imagine hundreds or thousands of players (and bots) doing that...
