I have to say this, even if it will be removed like every negative comment around this forum:p :
There are new Wondrous Bazaar prices coming our way. It's ok to change them, some are pretty steep. But please, devs, don't change exclusive fashion prices like CW's Arcane Wanderer. Its price is around 3kk AD for hat+tunic, and the devs are changing the price to... 300k, which is 10% of the original price!
Now every other newbie CW will have a fancy hat and it won't be so special.
And I don't like it.
There. You can delete this thread, because it's negative.;)

Don't worry, we'll all know you're special anyway. A fancy hat does not maketh the Mage.
Yeah, call it what you want, the point is, lowering prices by 90% is too much.
I agree - that is a huge price drop. I am glad they are dropping prices to more reasonable levels, but a 90% drop is a bit much. It becomes a slap-in-the-face for those who spent the big AD to have a more rare item.
Of course, some people will complain about your post because they really care mostly about how something impacts them personally, like "yay, now I can get it for cheap."

its readily available, how can it be exclusive?
1m ad is not hard to farm in 1 day
What???? You must seriously play most of your waking moments if you can farm 1 million AD in one day! You are a rare exception to the norm. Everyone I know that plays (and some on these forums) would take much longer to acquire that amount of AD.
It is a bit silly to act like 1 million AD is such an easy thing to gain - you are not the norm by far.

1 million is legitimately farmed in a day but usually only near the start of an expansion when BoE drops are incredibly valuable. even then it takes an awful chunk of time usually. Of course this is only true if it done legitimately...

Ok. Just seems so "out there" for a casual player like myself. Its takes me about 2 months to gain 1 million AD on one account. then again, I only play about 12 hours a week max.

If you can stand the boredom, a few invoking and Leadership alts are in order. Even with the bare minimum of Leadership assets (all white etc.), and a sensible number of slots unlocked, you can make a decent amount. For example- depending on rare tasks, you can make 7-10k daily- just starting leadership once per day.
Assume 7k per day, across seven characters. So, 49k per day, or 1.47M per week. If you were less lazy than me, and restarted the leadership tasks more than once per day, you could make a lot more.
This only needs a few minutes per day, and can be done from the browser while you drink a cup of tea/coffee/blood of the innocents.
Team Fortress 2 does it and nobody bats an eye, Cryptic then does it and everyone loses their minds.
I could be very wrong, tf2 didn't tickle my fancy so am not really in the know about it. But aren't they from player drops and the price is player driven?
Anyway, I doubt that anymore than .1% of the population actually bought any of that stuff

I think your calculations are off: 49k per day is 343k per week, not 1.47 mil.
I have 5 characters on the account (3 are alts/mules) - a TR (my main) and a CW. Only 3 of them have level 20 Leadership. The other two are around level 15, so they are not amassing a lot of AD right now. On the 3 with L20 Leadership I gain about 7-10k each per day - let's call it an average of 8.5K per day, or total of 25.5k per day. The other two toons do not generate a lot of AD right now, probably 3k per day for both of them (I am mainly focused on leveling at the moment).
28.5K AD per day for the account is about 200k per week, so I guess that means it takes me 5 weeks for 1 million AD. I guess my original calculations were off a little.

I get bored after 1 dungeon run... I haven't played a single dungeon in more than half a year I think.
You must have a lot of free time in your hands..
Even with leadership on 5 alts I make like 100k at most a weak, including a few dailies, right now at the start of this campaign Im not even keeping up with the outgoing ad sink of paying for my sw on the sharandar/dread ring/dragon campaigns, ive had to buy HAMSTER purple gear to give to him to refine.
I have no ideal how these people make so much, other then having 60 alts to invoke /leadership ad.
Frankly this game shouldve done what others do, double the classes and make that the limit of the alts.
This would've solved some of the issues they have.
Making things BTA works as well. you cant cross buy junk for other accounts and you only get daily points for your own alts.
without campaigns in progress I can make more, but NEVER 1 million a day.. maybe 1 million a month on a reasonable time frame. Its taking me 6 months to buy a greater vorpal!
It blows my mind the amount of time people can spend I guess.. 60 alts in one day.. just blows my mind, invoking and professions must be like 1-2 hours worth of work alone!
I think your calculations are off: 49k per day is 343k per week, not 1.47 mil.
Yes, I think I lost my mind entirely there! I have no idea what sort of brainfart that was. I am blaming demonic possession and assume that you'll back my story up.

Sweet, it's only taken them a year to comprehend how out of whack these prices are.

Actually, we're shutting this down because A) Your are discussing/encouraging forum moderation, which is not allowed and there is already a thread on this topic. Read the Rules please and adhere to them and perhaps then posts wouldn't get moderated.
Also, if you think we remove negative comments just because they're negative, then you haven't read too many posts on our forums, as there are negative comments everywhere. They're just done within the Rules.

Of course. What do you think 'exclusive goods' are?
exclusive goods are not things you can buy with in-game currency sorry

question is, do you understand why those items are there?

It just shows you how overpriced they were. $26 for a hat is not really value for money.
Team Fortress 2 does it and nobody bats an eye, Cryptic then does it and everyone loses their minds.
