Random Singularities

Many people were asking around in various zone chats if they were the only ones seeing the FX for "Singularity" spell at heroic encounters. You are not alone.

At every heroic encounter there has been the appearance of one, if not several "singularities" going off with out any actual spell effect. I suspect this is just some random weirdness that has come with attempting to fix several other issues, and I have submitted an official bug report in game for it.

    I have started seeing them above regular mobs too now , no idea what they are for or what they do but it is starting to get annoying because I sometimes also get the sound effect .

    Yep. Counted 3! singularities without a CW near them or mobs dragged. Seem the same bug as the dailybug of the HR ago.

    Just updating that is also happens in ToD dragon spawn areas.

    Is that what those random black/blue orbs are that are all over the place in zones?

    Yes. Those are Arcane Singularity spells... but with no reason for them to exist. Just randomly popping up.

    Absolutely no idea how this could be created as a bug.

    This is not a newly invented bug. Similar bug appeared in winter festival, and was caused by some HR dailies. It was worse back then, because it made game unplayable. At least now it is just annoying.
