Achievments Points...what do they do?
I noticed the achievment points in my journal, anyone knows what they do or what they give?
Thanks

Not a durned thing. I'd love to be wrong.
    Where'd my blinky-blinky path go?

Not sure what they plan to do with Achievement Points.

However, they said when they first implemented the Collection Points system that they plan on eventually having a use for them, most likely through (back then) the Core Community Pages (now called ARC). If you're familiar with other non-Cryptic PWE Games, it will most likely be similar to what you can do there: purchase in-game items and unlocks with certain types of points gained in-game.

Not sure how having such would equate to having no life.

Anyway.. I have 434 Collection Points and 129 Companion Points and I don't play that much.
(note, I had collection points and achievement points confused when I wrote this)

Bragging rights, magenubbie beat me on that.
In other games i usually use the archivement system to check if i have experimented all the game can offer me. Here in NWO the archivement system is more like a shopping list checker.

I have 3.800 Points... sorry i should have displayed it as a sarcastic ironic joke...

But it's sad you get nothing cool...

That makes more sense reading it after knowing it was meant as a sarcastic jab at one's own collection points.

However, there's no way you can have 3,800 points as the most you can get right now (after Mod4's additions), is 3,116 Collection Points.

Nevermind, I'm getting Collection and Achievement points confused. I have 3175 Achievement Points myself right now.

A bit back to topic... the achivement system of neverwinter is pretty plain. I mean you get some titles pretty easy like killing 500 monsters. 5.000 would be better. Or achivements for normal progress... i mean, i do this stuff, it's the game core why get i am an achivement for this...?

Based on CO and STO...absolutely nothing. And I highly doubt they'll change that.
