  I just noticed this yesterday, and I have to agree with most here. This is a terrible idea. Using canon characters as trivial companions just seems cheap. You may as well give everyone Drizzt Do'Urden next.
  
  But, I have a safe alternative to be considered

  I wanna the Nameless One. Last time I saw him, he was the most intelligent being in all realms. He cannot die and will protect me forevah!
  
  Or better yet, can I have my char from Baldur's Gate as companion? For all I know, she's a goddess of some kind and pretty nasty one.

  I think Rhix would be better. He would fit in with the start of Tyranny of Dragons, and he could get rid of enemies by paying them off in AD!
