they have the burst from mod 1 tr
cc is way better then before tenacity
i say with 45 to 50 k hp easy and shield they are tanky like any gwf.
and ad from one and a half year of being only class in pve to back it all up
and best of all even pve build is viable in pvp

I don't know why you would spec renegade in mod3 let alone mod4. Combat advantage damage is HAMSTER. What else do you get? A little crit severity and some random debuff.

I did very well with it in mod3. It's the way I learned to play, and I'm too stubborn to change. However, I do have to stop PvPing.

Stubbornness is your own issue. MMO's change and builds have to change with them. This is part of what happens in every single mmo when they do a major content update.

Actually, OP is correct. Before MOD 4 I was extremely weak in PvP (that I do not like as much as some people might do) and I do not use any PvP oriented gear. Now I simply don't use singularity and the ball like before in PvE. I can't even manage to do since Time Steal already finishes the job with two prior spells :rolleyes:

"Non-OP" feats, eh? Well regardless of whether they're Op or not, I personally think the main reason renegade was even adequate was because thaum wasn't much better. Cw didn't get strength from feats in mod3.
Anyway, to the OP's sarcasm, I had to ditch my CW because it really wasn't very viable in PVP in mod3. It's obviously viable now.
For the record I think GF is just as OP it's just taking them a little longer to get into the swing of things.
Probably the best thing to do in this game is level all of the classes. Eventually they'll all be OP it seems at one point or another.

I feel exactly the same way about my HR. Had to sell Potency Marks for gold so I could remove all my enchantments today. (Mailing them to other chars because HR is done). But afterword I realized the HR was what motivated me to get online. Now I just read these boards rather than play. Tried a new game today. It's okay, but we'll see.

Yes but you did get a free feat respec. You couldn't change up powers, stat points or paragon, but it allowed you to adjust what they messed with the feats.

I play cw. In pvp our control and damage in module 4 is great. I love it. I feel like a GWF/HR in module 3. I'm not sure how long it will last so I'm going to enjoy the god-like feeling. We went from being barely represented on the first few pages of the "Leaderboard" to swamping it lol. Unfortunately we are now being blamed for breaking pvp (as GWF and HR were before). In the interest of so-called "balance" I would say that we are the most powerful class in pvp atm. I haven't had the opportunity to face a Warlock as yet so it will be interesting to see what they bring to the playing field.

Your ignoring one important factor. HR, TR, GWF, can run circles around a GF all day long. None of these classes should be able to facetank and beat down a GF. Your going to have to play smarter to take one out, as it should have been from the beginning. As a TR I have very little trouble avoiding GF damage completely, meanwhile I use courage breaker and smoke bomb to make their life living hell. I see no reason why a GWF can't twitch sprint out of a follow-up when ever GF uses a gap closer, use a quick sprint to bypass their block and chain them starting with takedown, and then bogey when the GF picks himself up off the ground(stun now). As, for HR, I don't know, I don't play one, but I have already encountered HRs every bit as tough as M3.........

By good place you mean completely Dominating pve and pvp. Then you are correct
CWs face tanking gfs/gwfs
CWs able to go 3v1 easily
CWs perms freeze in both pve and pvp
CWs doing CN solo.. Which a lot are ATM

Same, ive been a CW since launch... It got shelved for a while because it required a VERY supportive group to work in any premades. Pug farming anything would do.
Your ignoring one important factor. HR, TR, GWF, can run circles around a GF all day long. None of these classes should be able to facetank and beat down a GF. Your going to have to play smarter to take one out, as it should have been from the beginning. As a TR I have very little trouble avoiding GF damage completely, meanwhile I use courage breaker and smoke bomb to make their life living hell. I am gf and noticed how much better I was in pvp against demics claases now have much more decent 1x1, beat a GF must be a strategic work to go behind him and kills him (go through your tankness). Yes it is right now, before we gfs we could not tanking because our guard was too useless and ended fast.

Stubbornness is your own issue. MMO's change and builds have to change with them. This is part of what happens in every single mmo when they do a major content update.
Adapt and change or just leave.
