probably g.plague or p.lifedrinker will be a better choice for pure contesting.
They can see you in stealth when you toss daggers at them with lifedrinker enchantment *rollseyes* Would be fine for non stealthy TR, I think...

But still I fail to realize why do they punish rogues so hard for using their TAB, even without much of abuse...

. Especially considering I'm not a potion guzzler and I seem to be running into more of them.

The higher you go on the leaderboard, the more of them you will see.

Congratulations on the daddy role...Nothing better in the world :D:D

No no no. Just a bunch of TRs out there panicking and selling their Bilethorns. It has simply lost it's crazy synergy with DF. It's a big deal but not worth panicking about. If you don't use DF in PvP then it really doesn't matter a whole lot.

I would love to use a different weapon enchantment for the sake of trying something new, but my TR friends have convinced me otherwise. I'm just going to roll with it. Only 10 days 'til Mod 4. We'll feel it out and wait for TR changes to drop on preview. Then the real testing begins.

didnt feel so crazy when hiting equaly geared gwf,hr,dc
i needed at least 8 to 10 df to even come close for a daily kill
    ah well nevermind

no reason to use bilethorn without df synergy

there is no way to continue to use the profound set...
the new overload enchants are too OP (50% damage reduction for 20 sec every 60 sec)

One hit of gloaming cut applies two ticks, like if you hit the target twice with SF or DF.

So with bilethorn finally getting fixed, what do you predict most TRs will start using? Vorpal or GPF perhaps? Because for some reason I just heard negative feedback on the forums for Perfect Flaming. I just want to know so I can prepare mentally for what is to come :P!

It's REALLY tough to say. As we've talked about, Bilethorn is still a great enchantment. It's just a bummer for people who have used it with DF for so long. I'd like to be able to use another enchantment for some different flavor as well. We can test ourselves now on preview and live when mod 4 drops but none of it really matter until those TR changes hit preview. So likely another 3-7 weeks.

I think I'm just going to save for a second enchantment and stick with Bile for quite some time.

In terms of flurry synergy GPF is going to easily be the best enchant. Pvorp will do more damage overall with flurry, but only if you crit on your bleed, and that damage is DOT damage. For burst GPF>Pvorp with flurry. Pbile comes in close to GPF for damage but you also have to look at the fact that bile is delayed dmg. Flaming is total crp compared to GPF. You actually get far more damage from the def debuff than you do the "burn" damage, and don't forget that def debuff also affects GPF "burn" damage. If your looking at things besides flurry however, Vorp is hard to ignore. Not that great for COS, but for GC and WOB it's golden.

I predict gloaming cut is going to become alot more popular, I dropped COS for GC BEFORE the 12 to 8 charges nerf. After that nerf hit I never looked back. If you compare base damage GC does more than half the damage of lashing blade, on a full HP target. I hit around 7-8k crits with my GC on soft, full HP targets. I'm guess that a executioner with a Pvorp could easily do 15k+ crits on someone with low HP.

Anyone else thinking that courage breaker is going to totally obliterate SW?

I was thinking it will probably get nerfed because of GWF/SW sprint and their intentions of CC immunity and such. Since it will nullify their use (and other classes can still dodge while under courage breaker) I sense some will cry about CB and we all know what happens when people cry about TR abilities.

I feel ya on the nerfs, but they have never actually changed the DR/dodge ignore of TR dailies (CB, WOB, SE). A SW that gets hit with CB is looking at eating at least 2 flurries back to back @ +10% power. On a low defense class that's a death sentence. There really is no doubt they are going to QQ about this lol.

I might cry inside just a little if they nerfed Courage Breaker. It's the only way I can stop a GWF on his tracks before he roars me to sundown.
