#1 Rules and Setup
• You are only allowed to participate with one team. Each of your team-members is allowed to have one backup-player. Every player is allowed to participate as a backup-player in another team. But you are only allowed to play in one team as a backup-player. Due to the rewards will only handed out to the main-players.
• The tournament is FFA so you don't have to bring "guild"-team. Only a rainbow team - Guildtag doesn't matter!
#2 Bracket Details
We will try to setup up three leagues for the tournament. So there will be the following leagues:
Important note: Each bracket requires at least four teams of full 5-man groups. If we do not get enough teams for certain bracket, we will try put them into another bracket.
#3 Entry Fees
None! The tournament is completely free for anyone.
#4 Prizes
Official tournament pot: 6 million AD! \o/
We will be handing out prizes such as enchated keys, rank 7/8/9 enchantments, etc; equivalent to the AD value at the time when the prizes are handed out.
#5 Pots and Buffs
To avoid confusions about pots/elixirs and to keep the matches as balanced as possible there's a simple rule on this tournament:

#6 Match Scheduling
The tournament will start on the first August weekend (Saturday 08.02.2014). Due to different timezones teams have to schedule the match with their enemy team by themselves. We can only give you a startdate and a maximum enddate.
#7 Extras
You like to stream your matches on twitch? No problem! Post your twitch-stream-link and we will try to put all the streams together in on big stream and moderate/comment your gameplay!
During these streams we will put out some giveaways for the viewers!
#8 Sponsors
Every sponsorship is very welcome!

• The tournament will be 5vs5 domination pvp
• The tournament will be setup as a double elimination match
• Only Rainbow-Teams are allowed to prevent meta-playing
-That means you are only allowed to have one of the following classes per group:
*TR
*HR
*GWF
*GF
*CW
*DC
- Every team has to have 5 players

• Bronze-Bracket which is totally free to join and just for the fun. The idea behind the Starter-League is to give unexperienced players or groups a chance to test themselves.
• Silver-Bracket is for experienced PVP players and guilds who feel pretty confident with their team.
• Gold-Bracket is made for the highend pvp groups that are seeking for competition.
Important note: Each bracket requires at least four teams of full 5-man groups. If we do not get enough teams for certain bracket, we will try put them into another bracket.

• People will run ACT to prevent others from breaking the rules

IMO you could make 2-4 becuse you will have players from top guilds joining at any cost for price not being a real issue and also it is difficulto to find one of you under 14k, and then you have the average player that pvp for fun and could partecipate even if he knows he will not win anything but wants to have a little challenge (tha can justify the price of 2 keys)
edit: I am not proposing this amount for my personal interest for I don't think I would take part even for free

Thank you for your feedback - we will open up a separate thread with a poll to discuss the fees. To avoid confusions - the fees are per team. That means for the gold league a player has to pay 1 key to participate (thats ~62k AD).

Good intentions, but you lack the people to make this work. Game too small, PvP population even smaller, max geared and really skilled PvP population even smaller yet.

a 14k isnt supposed to play against my tr or against a ET CS synergy eoa etc etc premade.
Gold: 5 Million AD Jackpot or 1 Rank 9 Per Team Member of winning team, rank 9 will vary by price and resale value
Platinum: 10+ Million AD Jackpot or 1 Rank 10 per Team Member of winning team, Rank 10 Will vary by price and resale value
This Jackpot will be paid out in the safest way prescribed to me by in-game Moderators Or Developers Should they choose to Instruct

it's pretty hard to take a lot of teams, and manage to make them coincide in the same timezone, because not everyone plays at the same hours or days of the week.
Enforce rainbow parties in PvP ---- 10v10 PvP ----

thank you for the feedback! I would prefer your opinion too, but the problem is that we can't force it. So we are not able to control what people are doing during matches and they will maybe switch back to their normal gear and get an unfair advantage.
We need to keep the rules as simple as possible to avoid confusions or abusing.

BUT it seems more like a scam to me. I dont want to accuse anyone but given the various exploits this game has still to offer there is no way this tournament will be fair and square.
Just two examples:
- the past stat exploit was used by several individuals who will be participating in this event for sure. You have to be a naive mind if u think these people wont use any given mechanics no matter what if its an exploit to win.
- best example: the consumable "Barbecued Meat" heals instant for 8k hp, without HD and is spammable. I think its not even an exploit but WAI which in itself is a joke for competitive gaming… and I am quite sure one or two top guilds are already stacked with these ready to abuse them.
I cant say more because of forum ToS.
I can only give my warning to everybody who considers actually taking part in this event. Be prepared to get ******!

Alright so heres how I'll base my sponsorship,
10m for platinum bracket at 4 teams , for every team after that I'll add 1m per team, if we hit 10 teams it'll jump to 20m if we manage 30 teams, 50 Million AD prize
Gold bracket will work the same at 50% of prize money levels
Each bracket will operate with its own amount of teams contributing to its seperate prize money
Drop outs will contribute negatively against prize money
And yeah, to the point of one of the posters, I will not name any names, but some of the people associated with this tournament have been accused by plenty of committing shady stuff in-game and towards other players.
I don't want that to take away from what is a great great idea and so I believe sponsoring majority of the cost of this tournament would be the way to go.
I agree with nuudlz, this would be very hard to enforce plus you are forcing everyone to change their gameplay since a lot of them rely on the 4-set bonus plus achieving the caps on their stats

why not everyone put aLL RANK6, 7 and just make one big less then 14 gs tournament

To encourage lesser-geared players to participate. To encourage more players in general.
I don't know. I'm still of the belief that one of the "rich" PVP players with over a billion AD (you know how you got them) should just fund this whole thing for reasons I already stated. The lesser geared players are scraping for every single penny. It is hard to ask them to pony up enchanted keys.
To tell you the truth, Cryptic should be organizing these events and funding it but we know the state of endgame in Neverwinter is lifeless and the fact that nothing resembling anything like this was organized in months shows how small their development team is and how detached they are to the current state of the game.
you can be easily over 14k with r6 if you have 3 epic artifacts
