Except people can still min-max, but only upon character creation whilst others are unable to unless they spend a lot of time redoing everything which is a massive set back. And no the tooltips do not explain enough, in character creation they are extremely vague.
Heck if you had a beta character there were only 3 of 6 roll, or was it 6 of 9 (they didn't cycle properly), versus the 18 now.
Along with some more free re-specks due to changes they probably need to hand out some free re-rolls if they ever invent them
I'd guess a lot of people who don't go on preview or do research will be thrown by Warlock stats in Character creation when it goes live , Int is its primary stat but only increases recharge speed and resist ignore , Con gives damage bonus and extra HP
Doesn't reincarnation in DDO allow players to reroll their character without having to start over ? I played DDO a while but the launcher kept breaking and it wouldn't let me log in so I got annoyed and gave up xD surely if it is allowed in DDO there isn't any reason we couldn't have a version here .
Ah, you are playing the pseudo-maturity bit. I stand by what I said, your views are not only ignorant but make you look stupid. You may not be stupid in RL, you may be pretty smart. But on this topic you look stupid. Keep putting your opinions out in public and expect public scrutiny from people on the other side of the argument. I am very obviously discussing the topic and you are very obviously doing a terrible job at justifying your point of view.
My point of view is my point of view. Some agree, some don't. To pass judgement on my opinions through name-calling is rude and counter-productive. No use trying to discuss issues with you anymore, as it appears from your comments that only your opinions are intelligent (in your own mind).

Warriors need strength and possibly con and dex. Also obvious. Thieves need Dex. Again, more than obvious. Etc Etc.
GWFs have stength as their primary stat, but tend to prefer points in con and dec instead. iambecks1 mentioned the warlocks secondary stat which is con which gives extra hp and damage, if you didn't know better, you'd give this stat an after thought rather than the main focus it probably should be. So yeah, not obvious...

Yep - need that box that pops-up when you hoover over an ability score during character creation that shows how the given ability score affects the class you are rolling.

First, personal choice has nothing to do with it. con and dex are still prime stats.
As for the warlock -which we haven't even seen yet-: If con is it's prime stat like it is in the PnP version, I'm sure it will be highlighted as such, as is done with every class. Really.. you can't go wrong as long as you keep the highest scores in the 3 prime stats.
They're still secondary stats that you may consider an after thought initially instead of the prime focus you may actually prefer. As myowmyow said, if they actually told you the stats they gave you like it does in game as well as against per level, it'd help clear some ambiguity. I'm sure there will be some warlocks who will think that being a magic dealer, con won't need to be a focus especially if they're used to cws despite it being a secondary stat and therefore may focus on cha and int instead. I decided to redo my gwf because I had so much in strength and very little con and the orc race was suboptimal for pvp. Was I terrible? No, but it still makes me sub-optimal.
Ideally as classes are changed and different feat trees become viable, other ability rolls should be optimal which you won't be able to predict or change.
Reasons to introduce a reroll token:
* Gives pvpers and to a lesser extent pveers a chance to balance their character to be on par with others. The PvPers in particular are the ones that care about a higher degree of balance and are probably the ones that spend the most on the game. A ridiculous amount if you ask me.
* Gives more choice and allows players to be happy with not having a permanent disadvantage over others.
Reasons not to introduce a reroll token:
* Because reasons.

A couple extras:
* Gives cryptic access to a boatload of cash to perhaps create a dedicated PvP team to focus on balance or to add much requested features like new modes and arenas.
* Allows legacy players, some who have been in since beta, who had no access to wikis and other sources of build data, the flying by the seat of our pants group, the ability to modernize our characters to be more in line with ones being rolled by newer players today.
And the one against:
* Players who already know more about the behind the scenes stuff in the game than they should, taking their min-maxing to dizzying heights to truly become OP juggernauts of PvP oppression.
