Hello curently ther is a 2 million request on buying Zen . anyone bought Zen from Exchange resently ?

okey what if for each 10000 zen you sold at the Exchange. a player would get 15 % exstra reward from quest,
and 5 % better drop rate of gear and proffision items. duration of this buff that allso could be staked for 5 gameplay houres

could that be a way to make players sell thier Zen on the Exchange ?

Zen is the equivalent of real money. If selling Zen would mean extra drops/reward, this would fuel the decriers of this game. Furthermore, you know that 1k Zen is roughly equivalent of 10 Euro, right? So 100 Euro, for 5 hours of playtime under bonus? No.
If you want assets from the Zen store, buy them on the Auction house, with AD, put up a 'Buy Order' on the Zen Exchange and wait until it gets fulfilled - or get out your wallet and buy the Zen directly.

I can fix the ZAX in a weekend - run a zen sale (as has been done in the past). Watch people scoop up the bonus 15% zen and resell. Watch market plummet.

All good ideas, but right now it's in Cryptic's best interest to keep it the way it is. Right now they have a lot of control over ZEN. You either buy it from them, or wait a couple days using the ZAX.

Business wise, that's a great place to be.

Not really. All Zen originates from Cryptic, so it does not matter for them wether it is used in Zen store directly or is sold through the exchange.

What matters to Cryptic is the total volume of Zen sales.

A high Zen price could go both ways: It might make it more attractive to sell Zen, increasing the supply. It could make Zen sellers reach their AD goal faster, reducing the supply. It could make the buyers afford less Zen, reducing the demand on the exchange.

Without access to the statistics that Cryptic will not show us, it is hard to say what Zen price gives Cryptic the highest volume of Zen sales.

I agree. It makes good business sense to keep things like it is. For those who can afford Zen, no problems at all. For those who can't, you just have to wait longer to get Zen through the exchange. So, people who pay Cryptic for Zen have the advantage over those who play strictly for free. That is perfect business logic.

You guys who never buy Zen get a FREE game with FREE module upgrades. You just have to be patient with getting Zen for AD.

You don't get the situation I'm afraid.

People are still spending zen, but they just aren't converting it to diamonds because, why would they? What would you do with your diamonds? Cryptic made most gear BOP.

People are merely straight up buying keys, respecs, account-wide mounts and companions from the zen store. Why would they overspend for overpriced stuff on the auction house?

Coal wards are now bind-on-pickup, hence it gives players less reason to use their diamonds. And please, no BS "you can buy keys using diamonds". Everyone with a grade 2 level math knowledge would know that it is better to just buy keys at the zen store than auctionhouse.

It is laughable to use the ZAX as ANY SORT OF measuring stick for zen sales when Cryptic has done a good job of making in-game currency as irrelevant as it is. The mysterious egg is a good start, but Cryptic has to keep at it because enchanted keys are in the zen store 24/7 convincing players to hold-on to their zen and buy directly at the zen store.

And lastly, to Trace's point, you are a freeloader plain and simple. You COST cryptic money by playing. Your role is to fluff out the population, to entice paying customers to keep playing. Cryptic has little obligation to dramatically change the ZAX. Its nothing personal, its just business.
