Purified Black Ice Cloak

I think there might be some kind of issue in Kessell...

I have been grinding this skirmish a ton. I have pulled about 120,000 black ice from this place and I still have not found the Purified Black Ice Cloak. My drops have included countless rings of both type and a many - many of the Corrupted Black Ice Cloak. Furthermore, I have even been awarded the Beholder I have done it so many times.

Something seems seriously glitched and was wondering if one of these epics has eluded anyone like I am seeing with the Purified Black Ice Cloak?

    No problem here got both ring and neck and none of it twice - guess i just got lucky and you didnt :/

    It's bad luck. I have multiple of everything (only 1 beholder artifact) and I only did the grind for a few days and now once in a while after I got everything. Once the belts get put into the loot table, I'll be grinding it again :)

    I've gotten numerous rings, (purified & corrupted), and a few enchantments, but no cloaks or artifact at all.

    Yeah like others have said just bad luck , I've got both cloaks and both rings and the artifact and now I'm just waiting for the belts to be added this week so I can get my the corrupt and the pure titles xD

    I got one of both. There's a glitch btw. when you salvage them, it says you have, the items disappear from your inventory, but no raw ad. Guess they melted or something.
    No idea what my toon is now.

    Yeah the Purified Cloak is the only thing I haven't gotten either.

    I've gotten the Beholder Artifact, Both types of Rings and the Corrupted Cloak. So pretty much everything but that.

    RNG is being hard on you :(

    I got my from the first attempt and a ring from the 3rd probably. I don't usually have such luck acquiring random stuff from bosses/chests but it seems like it gives me what I need when I don't really care about the items I might get ._.

    I've gotten TWO Purified cloaks.....so they do exist.

    It took me quite awhile to get the purified cloak -- not that I wanted to use it but simply that I wanted to get it.

    This is exactly my problem , I wasn't really bothered about any of the drops in kessells or the main hand and glove from HE's and I got them all , but when I want drops from CTA events and the artifact from Dread ring lairs ( which I did eventually get after spending a fortune on star metal gauntlets) I never seem to be able to get them , I hate the RNG in this game so much lol

    I got 2 in a row with one of my CWs. It has probably a bad drop rate like everything new in this game, i.e. MC/VT drops, Eye of Lathander, etc.

    got it in my first and only try at kessells. its probably either your dps or idk. i was 2nd on the leaderboard for damage

    I got back to back beholder drops within the first 2 hours of Kessels being opened. Haven't gotten any of the rings or cloaks yet though.

    Its just RNG, some get more than a fair share others get nothing, just seems to be how this game works. I have gotten numerous cloaks, but only one of each ring (i'd personally like to have two purified rings but right now using one of each). I have kept a corrupted cloak in case I decided to change my gear set but i'm thinking i'm going to enjoy the purified set a fair amount. I don't even have a full 4 piece set (just 3 pieces and the non crafted chest) and its working wonders for me right now.

    I'd also like the belt but you have to finish like 5 IWD PVP campaign quests to get that and I have to say i'm not super thirlled about that as just getting two is going to be tough for me due to my lack of PVP interest and the fact that pretty much everytime i'm in the open world pvp areas its either totally owned by AB or no one is there but me mining ice like a fiend.

    hahaha, i have the opposit problem, loads of cloaks but no rings.
    regret selling them for gold when i had them but didn`t think i`d want them.
    so you were looting my rings!

    It's bad luck. I went in for my FIRST kessel's run last night and got the cloak. But I totally feel your pain - were it something I cared about, and really wanted, it wouldn't have dropped like that, and the last thing I would want is some jerk claiming how "random loot is random" and the system works fine because they got theirs quickly. Although I am a DC, and I did get both my MH and bracers quickly, were these actual PVE upgrades that I needed, I have a feeling I would be on my 150th (or 4876347 - who knows?) run with a sky high blood pressure and NO Items...because that is how my luck works. Seems like when I don't care, I get them. So, Um....I totally don't care if I win the 20 million dollar Powerball either.:cool:

    Ok, maybe it's not really that bad, but I feel you pain. It is frustrating. But I won't lie, it does make it that much sweeter when you DO finally get that item. It just wouldn't be as satisfying if we turned it a bunch of tokens for everything.

    I got the purified black ice cloak first run on my gf :) So its defiantly not dps related just the old RNG system...
