Unable to authenticate

Is Dragon server in its death throes or what is going on? There's like one minute delay to everything, getting the server not responding message occasionally when I am not just warping and rubberbanding all over the place...

One of the ISP internet hubs is down. It has nothing to do with the servers.

    server's dying at the moment. Looks pretty devastating to me, but I'm sure it will be resolved sooner rather than later.

    that's great. we were about to beat the dwarf king and the lag kicked in, we all had to disconnect. lovely.

    Now I cannot login to the game. It was the same last night too. Weird stuff going on.

    No enough player bought Book of the dead so they were not able to pay internet provider ! :-p

    In before a mod says it's not the server's fault, nor our ISPs, but rather the weird way internet routing works. In other words, they can do nothing about it, we can do nothing about it, and it's all the Internet's fault.

    I logged in on one character to super lag in Protector's Enclave. But login was exceptionally slow. Then the second character, completely lagged out. Now it will not let me in game. The gateway seems to be having similar issues.

    Neverwinter - the only MMO in history that is not allowed to have server faults.

    I haven't managed to login the game yet and I've been trying to 20minutes. When I hit Play on the NW window after the auto-patching , I get a message Unable to connect to account server(3) and the game does not even launch. Anyone else experiencing that?

    Don't know about the game itself but I am still able to play SCA on gateway. This is reply to those who said they couldn't log on gateway...

    Line 4 and 5 are the cause of the problem. Seems a network hub has crashed.

    Unable to authenticate, the launcher says. Gateway won't go further than Character select either.

    Can't login either, this happened during the weekend, also is like 4 AM in US atm so i doubt anything will get fixed until monday.

    I suspect the new tayan artifact for 6000 zen is a cover operation to buy more servers hehehe.
    I understand that in online games bugs, lags and other things are common but its really frustrating playing and dying many times because your encounter or daily doesnt work because of lag. You use the spell, see the animation, Heard the sound and the cooldown start but the HP of the other is still intact...really frustating.
    Also been in GG and at 2 minutes from the end, server disconnection and when you come back no glory, no grim coins, nothing just 15 minutes lost for nothing.

    Same issue , started today, I was playing without problems till yesterday evening.

    This is an internet issue, not a server issue.
    It will likely get resolved as soon as possible by the actual ISP's. Leaving entire network hubs down all weekend is not below even horrible services like congentco.

    website and forum also very very lag, must load many times before i get success.

    Same here.

    For some days I have been having issues too in logging in.

    This: Unable to connect to account server (3)
    And: Contacting controller... or something...
    edit: And: Unable to authenticate:
    And: Cryptic Launcher Autoupdater trying to update launcher many times...
    edit: And: Attempting to connect to controller tracker..

    I can spend an afternoon trying to get into the game.

    Nice game kinda tho, just too bad to have such a lot of issues.
    Cant really recommend to friends even its quite a pretty game and is fun to play when it works...

    Also this makes me think twice to committing to this game when having such issues.

    edit: Star Trek Online seems to have these issues too, earlier always worked fine to me...

    EU located as well.

    The error messages change a bit but in the end I still cannot connect
