I use the following build as AC
    http://nwcalc.com/dc?b=pa4:27sink:13zrxv,13l3314:120000:1uu000:1ku0y0&h=0&p=anc

as AC you don't "have" to max benefit of foresight, so you can go any path and still pick linked spirit

if you plan on mainly PVE, then you can give up linked spirit for battle fervor and use blessing of battle - very good buff and proc 100%

the other specific AC feats are not that great, they recently nerf ancient warding (which was already bad to be honest)
and prestigious exaltation is specific to exaltation, encounter that I only use in PVP or when there are no adds (VT, SP MC last bosses etc.) so I wouldn't put 5 points into it

Get a miracle healer set, it will be a difference maker.. which IS super sad, but it is.

The core mechanics of a DC right now are just , well.. not in a good place, defense, healing on a DC isnt stacking right, but my gwf and cw can blow through that content much quicker, I think someone said it wasnt for them, which I still cant figure out how, I can destroy the most mobs in one rotation or two, while my DC takes 3-4 and takes a massive beating due to it.

But at least Miracle healer allows you to slot DG. SB and DL and at least survive encounters.

The other option is good ol FF, not as good as it once was, but slotting it with Miracle Healer, then FF, SB and DL allows alot of surviablity and at least some dps vs dropping ashield down.

I dread my DC dailies and do him first, otherwise I wouldnt bother.

None of the feats really matter in the end, you can be all faithful or righteous, I mix the both because I do not capstone either line. Ive tried a few set ups, AC still seems better in the end for PVP, but now way worse for IWD, as its slow, clunky and defense and self healing just dont seem to stack right.

BTW linked spirit is kind of broken atm, I wouldnt bother feating it, unless you think they will bother fixing it.. at some time in the future..

Im to the point that I dont want them to touch the cleric anymore, its pretty sad what they did to this class, even in the few months Ive been here. Pretty much all of it unwarranted, even the FF nerf.. I mean.. come ON!

I would say Divine Oracle is better for PvE because of foresight, and faithful tree is better for healing + Moontouched feat is great (nerfed but still decent)

RE: post#2, forget about Righteous Rage of Tempus, it's useless; go for Enduring Relief instead.

    Encounters:
Solo Content:Sun Burst, Divine Glow, Daunting Light
Dungeons: Divine Glow, Astral Shield, Sun Burst

In my experience, Annointed Champion only works in PvP with a very good party where you can buff and heal Warriors who are defending you. Otherwise, I find even with a fully-feated healer build, I do better with combat powers slotted as then I can at least defend myself a little bit. in PvE, AC is fine.

But isn't Benefit of Foresight a DO ability?

That was the OP's point, that when you don't go DO, you're freed of the obligation to put 10 points into Faithful to take this feat.

    @scarletsapphire
Arpen is still hit and miss but Gentleman Crush has posted that the fix they're working on for Mod 4 should actually make everything benefit from it that should, rather than trying to fix it for individual powers and always missing some.
