More bar setups please! (UI Request)

I would like to request the ability to have multiple combat bar setups. I use one setup for soloing, one for groups, one for bosses, another for pvp and so on. It's extremely tiresome to drag the icons around between fights, so often I don't bother. This leaves me with a less than optimal setup.

Could we please get the option of having a hotkey to change setups? Maybe Ctrl+1 to save a setup and Shift+1 to recall it. Whatever.

If you're concerned about someone gaming this system or whatever, make it so you can only recall setups out of combat.

This would make playing NW a whole lot more enjoyable for me.

Anyway, thanks.

Only at campfires and am all for it (well am quite hardcore in such things so any skill switch should be disabled outside of camp/PE). Not sayin am not switching skills during combat even, since its within the game rules.

either at campfires or out of combat / not flagged for pvp in iwd. then it would be so much easier then trying to fumble to switch your abilities as fast as you can

It seems like this would be something easy to do too. I'm hoping a kindly dev will notice.

    I need that too.

I spend so much time to switch stuff and skills between solo pve/boss/pvp and IWD pvp !

People have been asking for this QOL improvement since closed beta ,if they haven't added it yet I doubt they ever will even though it would be a really good addition.

This is a bad idea. This would give the TR yet another advantage since it is the only class being able to leave combat, at will. The TS is probably a TR himself. Nice try, but i don't see this ever happening. At least not as long they have not fixed the perma stealth abuse.

HR with all their dodge and GWF with their sprint cant run away maybe ? lol

That system require only to work out of combat and its ok.

TRs have a mechanism to allow them to escape from other players, but they cannot drop out of combat mode at will any more easily than anyone else. And as stated, HRs and GWFs can disengage pretty simply too, if they want to.

Give it the same cooldown away from a campfire as swapping powers individually and no cooldown at a fire and nobody has an unfair advantage. If anything, you're making life easier for classes who cannot disengage as easily, since the only thing hindering switching powers on the fly right now is really fear of getting caught with your pants down (window open).

PS. Want in order to easily switch my DC between solo offensive mode and healing in order to hop in on heroic encounters without having to stop and manually change pretty well absolutely every power I use.

And out of campfires, we could use altar to allow us to switch our skills (but always out of combat ).

That would be one more use of that item which is almost useless.

    Been asked for since Beta.

Not going to happen unless it's sold per alternate bar on the Zen store for 3000 zen.

The non-PvP allowed version will probably be cheaper to make the more expensive version attractive to the only people who would spend that amount to 'save time' or 'gain an advantage'.

You know, like pets that give more threat reduction than core feats or larger bumps to ranged damaged than most core feats. Seems legit right?

If your complaint is that it would give TRs an unfair advantage in PvP, then make it unavailable when in a PvP zone, simple as that. There's no reason why this couldn't be implemented in a fair way. BTW, my main is a GWF. I have a TR, but don't care for the class much.

I play a DC too and YES +100! When healing groups, I have very little offense too. Switching the DC's spell bar is a major pain.

This is indeed a very requested QoL feature,
    Just few days ago: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?685461-Need-a-bind

And as i wrote there, even asked for it in the stream....

But to the point, why is everything should revolve around PvP ?
Disable it inside PvP for what i care but i do want the ability to swap in combat !
A normal dungeon run is always in combat, more so, during a boss fight i want to swap from my "kick all their asses" DPS skill-set to "ohh HAMSTER we are going to die" skills, the whole points is that i dont want to drag them one by one during combat while dodging HAMSTER.

Imo, powers should obay standard cool downs the same way you cant swap power in CD right now.
If we talk about more complete feature like swapping a whole gear sets and artifacts, then that part should be out of combat when no enchant on CD (like SF) or even campfire/non-combat-altar.
This is a bad idea. This would give the TR yet another advantage since it is the only class being able to leave combat, at will. The TS is probably a TR himself. Nice try, but i don't see this ever happening. At least not as long they have not fixed the perma stealth abuse.

    just: What ?!?!
Can a single thread in this forum be without PvP QQ ?! Or is it mandatory ?
A thread is not complete without some false bashing against some class and mentioning irrelevant to the thread builds.
In this spirit "nerf warlock !!!!" "Paladin is OP" and "The borg will assimilate us all!"

p.s if my cynicism was not clear, TRs leave combat exacly the same way as any other class..
That is btw not the same as aggro and the reason TRs can't open doors / activate things even in stealth when the mobs not pulled away.

I am definitely in favor of have some quick-trays available to switch to. Some sensible restrictions, like you must be out of combat, no powers on the tray are on cooldown, and you must not be flagged for PvP, should apply.

This is a good idea but getting it right would be difficult. They have to make it useful enough to be worth it but not so useful to open the door for abuse.

Personally I say never allowed in PvP. I can see why it would make sense for a class like Cleric to want it available in IWD for switching from solo to group, but what about open PvP zones?

I'm inclined to suggest allowing it in PE/CK only. But then, is it really that useful?

If you allow it at campfire, then isn't it impossible to use while simultaneously flagged for PvP? (Unless you're in Domination and respawning, which is when you'd ideally switch powers if you needed to anyway.)
