UPDATE: One of those two codes gave me an eye patch fashion item.

I don't think he got it from the codes themselves. I redeemed the logitech one a long time ago with no eyepatch. And the gamespot code says it is just for beta weekend 3 access. While it may be a working code, it doesn't seem to redeem for anything actually usable.
