To the Farthest Forest quest

"To the Farthest Forest" (the quest you need to complete in order to unlock Sharandar campaign) cannot be completed. After defeating the Cyclops and speaking to Thradisar Starwise (the guy on unicorn) player cannot proceed to New Sharandar because the passage that leads to the exit is blocked by an invisible wall.

This problem usually occurs because you started the Old Sharandar Ruin instance but didn't finish it in one session.

I'm afraid the solution is to exit the instance and restart the quest, making sure to finish it in a single session this time. Should solve the inability to complete.

I have, 4 times. Dropped the quest and accepted it again from the NPC in PE even, got to the passage and bumped into an invisible wall again. Btw I saw someone saying they were stuck in Farthest Forest earlier in PE zone chat and asking for help, just before I accepted it myself, I didnt even know that was the same quest...

I'm having the exact same problem right now. Has anyone found a solution yet?
Edit: I have abandoned the quest and did the whole thing from the start, in one session a couple times and still have the problem.

We are looking into a fix for this. I do not believe there is currently any sort of work around at the moment.

I will update when I have more information.

Thank you for your patience on this issue.

Aaargh - just when I was going to take the first of my six level 60's into that area. LOL

Thanks for the thread-warning. I'll wait to see a patch note that fixes this before I attempt it.

To all who ask: "Any solution?"

    A: Yes!
Stop asking further, read the dev answers above and be patient until it is fixed.

Except it's not fixed in all aspects. I already submitted a bug report, but I still can't get in even after the patch. I just redid the quest and I get to Starwild after getting all of the artifacts and can't talk to him (there's no quest diamond over his head) and the rock wall is there and I can't get past it. The quest tracker says "Enter New Sharandar", but I can't get past the rock wall. So, maybe they fixed part of it, but not all of it. Sucks for me I guess. Not only that, but when I search for bugs related to Sharandar, I get nothing. Maybe it's filtering bugs that I submitted, or maybe the bug report process is bugged as well.

Another point of interest, don't know if this will help the devs figure out what's going on, but I just re-entered the quest and, although Cerandis Greenward has a quest diamond with a ? over his head, the quest tracker still says "Enter New Sharandar". Doesn't tell me to talk to him.

I had that too the first time i did the quest after the patch. I left the map, abandoned the quest, went to the NPC in PE and accepted it again. Had no issues finishing after that.

Well, I am of two minds about your suggestion. On the one hand, I have to thank you, because it worked. On the other hand, boy do I feel stupid for not thinking of it myself. :D I have abandoned quests before, but never to reset the quest. I won't forget that trick. Thanks again.
