Some Collective thoughts and ideas, for the next update.
Beginner Improvements and tackling the curve
- Better explanations of what the stat rolls give, they are very vague and explain nothing when creating a new character, clearly define what is good for pve and what is good or suggested for PVP, put yourself in a new players shoes.
- Account bound artifacts, not, character bound (cost to level 3 of these is MASSIVELY expensive, people should be allowed to use them on multiple characters)+ you could charge ad or zen to remove them, helping with ad dumping, rather than paying more ad for rank 5's stacks to botters & wts sites, it would also help begginers. Also it would more new player friendly who may choose to re-roll their toon because e.g. the game told them dexterity was their primary stat rather than just quitting.
- Fix the loss of enchantments on your when trading gauntlygrym gear to t2 pvp gear, i mean there isn't even a warning, why has this not been fixed??
- Give a free respect token when hitting level 60, i feel there must be a learning
curve, people will quit if they realise it's going to cost them days of trying to find groups just to respec.
PvP Adjustments
- Fix and balance ELO, it is no longer conspiracy that it's broken, it's fact (loose a game should not loose you rank as active forum members have mentioned)
- Balance PVP (gwf's and hr's in particular).
- Add a handle search to the ELO ladders.
- Add a "view players rank" upon inspecting a player
- Have seperate ladders for GG, DOM & Open World.
- Make it fairer for support classes to gain elo rank (possibly add more points gained for assists, making better
for clerics)
- Add more pvp maps, i mean c'mon no new domination maps at all? All it has to be is symetrical, people are getting bored now guys,
pvp isn't LoL or dot2 where it takes creep spawn balance, towers and lanes.
- Add a pvp ladder reset for zen.
- Define two types of queue system; Ladder games & Non ladder matches aka casual mode.
- More pvp game modes.
- Add more foundry features, maybe then users could design PVP maps and run competetions like "Map
of the month" which will be used in real play (warcraft3 used to this)
- UT/HoN, inspired announcers like "TTTTTRIPLE KILLL", and "ANNIHILATION!!","CHAMPION OF NEVERWINTER",
"IT'S A WIN FOR THE REDS", "POINT ONE, HAS BEEN LOST", "PUUURRRRFECT VICTORY(1000-0)" and so on, announcers give a much MUCH more
compelling experience, at the moment we have "you're team dominates"(when it only has 1 point) and
enemy team dominates it's, well, just meh. Again why not run a competition to see who can come up
with creative announcers, you could charge zen for unique announcer voices, like "VALINDRA ANNOUNCER"
& "
HAMSTER KNOX ANNOUNCER".
- Show player's guilds in pvp ladder.
- Add a guild rank ladder.
- Fix broken class encounters.
- 10man domination.
- 1V1 Arena.
Other Fixes & issues.
- Fix queue bugs so groups dont have to type "+" to say they have a queue...
- Reduce the time of sharandar aka 2monthandar.
- Ashes of the past from castle never, worth a mention, people were keeping them for a long time, did you just forget?
- Make PVE harder, remove circles from goin on the ground, or delay them to the last split second making
dodging much harder, and give a reason for group to use clerics again.
- Make the guardian fighter usefull, in pve + pvp.
- Fix the ZEN ad exchange.
- Make Transmute gear account bound e.g. somebody may want a cat cape from a redundant open beta toon, could charge AD/zen for
this, people will pay.
- Add a dedicated Central European Server (just a pipedream but wtb <150ms in the UK)
- Allow for guild logos to be added, could charge ad/zen for this.
- Play your game.
- Do not add dailies next module.

Also it would more new player friendly who may choose tore-roll their toon because e.g. the game told them dexterity Then balance PVP from max level, have a casual mode where gear is LOCKED to character and cant be swapped and a minimum gear score of 5,6,7,8kgs abd so on for each teir, where lower levels can earn glory and get PVP quest like double kills triples. You would still get twinks but GS would be fairer and wins/losses wouldn't count towards ladders, making it less competetive and less bragging rights for victory, or loss of rep for a bad game.The reality is to go dungeon delving for your gear, in true MMO style you get less bang for your time, add rank6, or rank7 enchants boss drops.

- Add a pvp ladder reset for zen Either allow it, or have as I suggested in previous answers or below casual gs+gear locked modes, non ladder game where new players can go to games without going 2/40 and still earn at least some glory for their matches + a ladder mode with open gear. On the other hand i can see how a reset could be open to abuse and cheating elo's fundamental goal.Define two types of queue system; Ladder games & Non ladder matches aka casual mode. As long as this doesn't interfere with queue length, which I am sure it does neutral covered what i was getting above and explained how it could work.

They reworked visuals last update, so i think they do, it would also bring revenue, again you can use fan generated content in return for zen.

- Fix broken class encounters. Maybe i should have said and overpowered & broken. Broken ITC's, Forest med, IBS, plaguefire gwf stacks, so on.
- Balance PVP (gwf's and hr's in particular). Both are overpowered for many reasons, that often come down to situation and comp'sin mix matchups, it's pretty much agreed upon, then if both teams have equal gs and comp's it never really matters that much.
- 10man domination. Would be nice to test on praccy server.
