My brother sended me 2 seperate times a weapon enchantment from his account. After he sended to me i see the mailbox glowing it means i got it in mailbox.
But the message with the items wont show.
When i go to my gateway mailbox trough internet it shows both items. 1 i got the items in mailbox 2 its glowing 3 i cant see it while in game mailbox i cant recieve my items. Plz help me
Srry bad english :C
This happened to me once and it was because I had too many older messages in my mailbox that had items attached. I had to delete a few of those messages (take the items from them first). Then the new messages appeared. Perhaps you might try this.
thank you i tried it but the message still wont show, i had too much old stuff like what happened with you.
I took the items and removed the messages but still nothing show i checked gateway still there
I have this problem, I bought out two auctions of waukeen pouches AND sent myself the pouches from one of my other chars so I could put them together and trade for boxes. None has arrived yet. I saw this thread, cleared some stuff out of my mailbox and waited. Nothing. Cleared more out. Waited. Nothing.
This is day 3 of waiting. And I used the reply button, as I always do, when sending the pouches so I did not type the name wrong (the automatic answer in PE zone chat.) And the pouches are gone from my other char.
Receiving auction wins I understand. But for transferring items the Bank Shared Slots will be a lot more reliable. I know: pain in the neck to always have to travel to that bank (and there's only ONE bank). As for in-game mail: attaching inventory items have always made me nervous (even in Star Trek four years ago trough now).
I highly recommend you go through your entire mailbox and just absolutely clear it out as much as possible. Especially any mail with attachments. Any old mail should be cleaned out quickly also - remember that this is not your internet email account, which is pretty robust. This is a really, *really* simple in-game messenger and that's all it is. I highly recommend you do not rely on it so heavily as a inventory transfer service if at all possible.
TL;DR
Continue cleaning out your mailbox - all old messages, with attachments or not, but especially those with attachments. The new stuff will appear eventually - but you really have to clean-out your mailbox. If it were an *empty* mailbox then you'd be genuinely doinitrite.
I really don't have enough inventory space to empty it out entirely. I've been playing the game since live and this is the first time I've had this problem, so I've been pretty comfortable with the mail system (plus my other char was in a zone with a mailbox but no bank at the time.)
I deleted as much as I could, I have maybe 5-6 mails left with items and the only other mail in it is fluff mail from the game itself. I guess I could start deleting that too but I heard it doesn't count towards a full mailbox.
The mail has worked normally since then, it's just those 3 mails that would have happened a few minutes apart that are lost in limbo. At first I chalked it up to high traffic at the time (The waukeen event had just ended) but now I don't know. Auction mails don't count towards the total either, AFAIK, so I see no reason why they would be lost too if it was because of a partly-full mailbox.

Based on the description you provide - do this (and this is me in guessing-mode right now) - send another mail to your alt from the same account-to the same account as the missing mails. Try to "shake" the system loose. You said you had hit a "reply" to create a mail to attach the items to, I've never done this. This sends the mail directly to that character (toon@handle) - where I rather always create a message from scratch without a toon name (just @handle) - that way the message appears to ALL characters.
Go to gateway.playneverwinter.com - log into Gateway, select the character that was *supposed* to receive that message - check mail on Gateway web site. Do the messages appear there? If they do NOT - submit a ticket in-game ASAP. If they do show there, then it is an in-game glitch - try sending mail back and forth and give it some time. If still nothing appears by tomorrow at this time - submit a support ticket in-game.
I'm sorry I could't help more. I can only explain what I would do in this scenario.
If any of these methods (or something else you try) does work, please post a follow-up that explains what you did so others who find this thread and are in the same situation can also try those steps.

Messages sent to specific characters show up account-wide. There is no way to send an individual message to one of your characters from yourself. Actually, if you mail something to another player using a specific character name, it will also show up across their account to be claimed by any of their characters.
And I say that because I use the auto-complete feature for mailing a guildmate to send myself or my husband stuff all the time, because the game had darned well better not lose any mail if I'm letting it fill in the address rather than typing it myself.

Then I may be misunderstood (as in: I am misunderstanding the system) - perhaps it is only System-generated mail addressed to a specific character that is only viewable on that character. As I've said I only have ever used @handle, never a character name when sending mail to myself. So the only experience I have with character-named mail is from the System (AH wins, race-based quests, etcetera).
Yeah, using the reply button just sends account wide... cause I'm hitting reply on an account wide mail anyway. It's just a shortcut so you don't have to type the handle over and over again and risk a misspelling.
I'd already checked the gateway, they don't show up there either. Not then, not now. I've won actions on that char, sent more mails, everything's worked fine ever since but those mails have not appeared.
I sent a bug report after typing my previous post. No response so far (3 days now) and no open tickets listed. I guess I can kiss those 100+ waukeen bags goodbye, and the astral diamonds I paid for the ones from the AH.
