Looks like they moved the gaming night again and 'forgot' to tell Rath Modar, again.

rath has been banned from gaming night because he has forgotten the mead three times already. :/

Playing a tabletop RPG inside a computer RPG? MADNESS!

That starting date is very suspicious though... :p

Green slime companion? LOL "Who you gonna call? Orc-busters! (?)"

I can see it now: mobs all crying about how "he slimed me".

Well, I don't think that they'd go about foolin us. Its probably just an ironic thing. Although an animated blob for a companion? Really? XD.

Oh well, I'll be there for it, no doubt :3. I wonder if its going to work a bit like SCA or not.

It looks like it could be fun. There was a foundry with a similar idea behind it, but in a Chuthlu setting. Hopefully this might be something similar. Just wish they kept the old name. Day of the dungeon master sounded better.

From the "Potential rewards" bit I think it's safe to say yes there.

I hope the green slime's Active Bonus is a 10% chance to step in it and ruin your boots.

Green slime companion. Stroke of genius or lazy modelling? You decide.

Lazy modelling. Back to back with the Armored Ghost Horse, which was might I add a brilliantly insulting ploy for money. I wonder how the development conversations go.

    "We need a new mount."
"Well, how can we get the most money possible, while doing the least work?"
"Let's make another horse, which we already have a basic model for. And to keep us from having to do any detailed texture work, lets make it transparent"
"Promotion! You get the next three months off paid!"

The nice thing there is that it basically lets them get away with it too. There's nothing like giving the player creative versatility by simply giving them something that's just different enough not to raise too many eyebrows. It's good for the bottom line on all ends.

Yeah, It's kinda lazy, but **** is it effective.

I've run a game of D&D for some characters sitting around a table in WoW before. It is pretty trippy...

Pretty sure its not real. They woulda have to have worked on it for months, given how complicated it would be to implement. My guess is they will go APRIL FOOLS then go ahead and give us some slime =)

New assets were clearly created. That would have been a waste just for one screenshot.

And I don't think it would take months to make 1 skirmish.

Thank you! I'm Halae over on the OotS boards, so I just chose to use my avatar from over there here as well. They've got a server outage that's going to last until saturday, though, so I'm spending a lot more time in-game and on these boards

Rewards are now listed on Owlbear (and will be listed on Dragon tomorrow after the patch).

I like that they listened to us and put a bound version of the companion in the event store , on the downside yet another currency to cram into my already bursting currency bag .....

After looking at the screenshot a bit more, I'm just imaging the "human chess" scene from History of the World... "Bishop takes Queen. Rook takes Queen."
