So basically the way it works in Perfect World International. Which means all guilds either turn into PvP guilds or find themselves disrespected by the ones that do.

Just needed to comment on this, In my 4-5 years of playing PWI I never found any guild that looked down on guilds that didn't do territory wars, in fact im sure most were happier without the competition lol.

    Now back to the OP.

I do think guild hall could be done here and it wouldn't be too hard. My only concern would be the PvP aspect, a not as its not a forced or "forced by incentives" then I'd be fine with it.

But I do think PWI had a good set up with how they could make the guild hall useful in terms of daily guild quests, contribution points that you use to build up your hall and each level of he hall would ad items and buffs that you could get.

But with cryptic I'd worry that it will end up costing some ridiculous amount of ADs or end up needing an item that ends up being easier to buy with ADs then grinding for (like marks). Personally I think this would be a great area to give us something to do with all that gold we have laying around.

This is something which has been asked for many times in the past even before the game was launched.

If I recall correctly this is something the devs expressed interest in doing but it is a matter of getting the time to work on it. For instance PvP really needed the attention it got for Module 3 and Teramak(sp?) has said The Foundry may be getting a big focus in Module 4 or 5.

There's a long list of features players want to be added and improved. A lot of them are universally desired but there is only so much time available to work on the content.
The following is unofficial speculation and not an official statement

I am sure something like Guild Halls will be added but your guess is as good as mine when it will happen.

The Devs are awesome on working on Neverwinter also one more suggestion which is called "Guild Coalition" Which you can coalition your guild with another guild and can coalition more then 10 guilds.

Any plans on adding guild foundry quests for the guild also guild buffs and you can gain exp for the guild with more then 1 guild member when doing a full team of guild members only.

Please note my player tag. We have played on a variety of games. We have seen a variety of issues involving guilds and I am gonna throw in my two coppers here.

PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF EVERYTHING YOU CONSIDER HOLY, DO NOT FORCE, OR COERCE GUILDS INTO PVP SITUATIONS!

Sorry, but I wanted to make my opinion very clear.

Some examples of non-violent guilds would be the tinkers, wizards, ranchers, farmers, blacksmiths, and the list could go on and on.

Our Family, and I emphasize FAMILY, want to play the game we are on and have fun. We have so many grinders I could open a body shop!

Collecting thousands of resources? We would love it!
Build times? We can handle that, we are long term players!
Expansions you have to work for? Bring it on!
Guild specific quests? Just tell us who to talk to!
Guild vaults that every member can contribute to? Please make it unlimited so we do not have caps to deal with!
A guild only AD/Z exchange method? Our cashers love to give those type of gifts to guildies, (I have members that would give a $20 game cash to a guildy, even if they do not want to spend on their own toon).
Slay the multitude of monsters cooperative quests? No level restrictions please!

Nonscheduled guild battles? Let those who want them opt into them.
Scheduled guild battles? Let those who want them opt into them.
Targeting other guilds members? Let those who want them opt into them.
PvP by guild matching? Let those who want them opt into them.
Alliances and enemies lists? Let those who want them opt into them.

See a trend? I am not opposed to others having those things, I just do not want to be forced into it.

Sounds like a pretty interesting feature. In my opinion the guild system needs more attention.

    very Libertarian of you! ;-D

For the record, I am in complete agreement. Sounds like your Guild is one I would contemplate being a member of.

So far, I have 4 characters, and no Guild association.

honestly this seems pretty easy to implement, just put of a tab in foundry called guild halls, and the location of the guild halls shows up like a foundry quest.Buildings and pvp content times can be done via guild quests(or just make people do foundry and earn point to purchase guild stuff)and guild officers and above can edit the guild hall, wiht guild points collected by members.

For people attacking guild hall, just have a leader select a guild formt he guild tab in foundry, and the instance for that enemy guild will show up in map for all members.

Almost exactly same as accepting a foundry quests and going to the instance, should be easy since you already have the same system for foundries.

Naturally if this is guild vs guild, in guild halls, there should be pvp objectives to determine a winner. Like a node to destroy or a special building to kill. Only guilds that have built this special node and building are subject to pvp type content for guild vs guild. While pve guilds can opt out of building this special nods/building and thus can;t be targeted for pvp.

Honestly speaking this does'nt seem really hard for me, as the game currently has the systems in place to do such a thing.
