It just makes sense. I'd make it so the drop rate was extremely low, but, this way those who weren't able to get one may be able to get one, it would be just a matter of time.

No, it is rare, let it stay rare. If people want it let them trade for it or wait till the next time that event runs..... maybe next year! and no I don't have one to trade. but two of my toons have theirs equipped.

What do the coins do anyway? I thought it was a temporary buff so I sold mine for 4 keys but I have a feeling that I may regret that?

Random buff 10 mins, 10 min cooldown on coin.... the coin sits in the potions slot, when the buff ends hit it again for another random buff for the next 10 mins ad infinitum.

Funny thing, wanted coin (rare), got none. DAT fool's crown (very rare) dropped 4 times. RNG, I hate you!
And I'm Tymora worshipper. What I have done wrong, Goddess? :-(
Actually, I slotted Tymora enchant just to see what's dropping (it's utility slot, so no big deal).
So part of me wants to write +1, but still have mixed feelings about that. Main attribute of event is well... that it's time limited entity.

I didn't realize that some players were simply more pure, simply better than others. I did not realize that spending a portion of every day I play gathering auctionable resources and making some spare AD made me a "trade channel hoarder." I had no idea that this made me dirty and worthy of a "**** them" comment. I will change my ways immediately, and give away all of my hard-earned resources to the beggars who park in Protector's Enclave and spam the zone with "Gimme 2 gp for a mount!" I have seen the error of my ways and will now avoid all activities that might lead me to have even 1 more AD than anyone else.

I have put rank 6 Tymora's Enchants on my leveling CW (Questing primarily. With Dailies thrown in).
To this point from the bags alone (Level 30-40), he has made 3 gold and has a supply of leveled Pots (hasn't needed to buy one yet; still has a surplus).
Throw in a couple of random greens, and I call this win.
PS. I have been keeping a running total of the silver/gold because I'm descended from Scotsmen.

Have you also added in the money costs of pulling the enchants out each time you get new gear? I'm asking because I've saved up quite a few of them suckers to use on a new character.

While levelling, the cost to remove an enchantment is pretty much covered by what you make back when you vendor your old gear.

But the point is you would have had even more money if you hadn't had to remove your enchants as you had to pay to do so. The OP was simply asking if the extra amount gained form the enchants was greater than the amount it costs to remove them each time you change gear.
I assume it is, but as I don't use them so can't say for sure.

If you're enchanting your gear with anything at all while levelling, then the cost to keep moving them around is recouped. The only way to not spend any money removing enchants while levelling is by not using them. So it seems rather a moot point.
I have no experience with using the Tymora enchants on a levelling character, so I don't know how the amount of coin actually scales, but it's a flat RNG-generated bonus as opposed to a % increase on drops.
Flat gold gain enchants don't really provide that noticeable of an increase, especially when gold drops are piddly small.

Yeah, usually I skip the utility slot while I'm leveling - and when I start reaching the higher levels I'll start using dark enchantments for the movement speed, all the others aren't worth it IMO.
Usually while leveling I either use the enchantments I find or I slot the Glorious Founders and Graycloak Insignias, and once I upgrade the gear I simply vendor the old piece with the enchantments still in it. I can just reclaim the two special enchants from the vendor anyway, and the rank 1 and 2 enchantments are so common and cheap that they aren't really worth spending money on to retrieve when they can just be replaced.
The Tymora's however I would retrieve since I only have a limited number of them.

How much of a buff are we talking, approximately?

Don't know if it scales to level, only used it on a mid 20's TR so far, he got around 300+ on which random stat it hit. Worth having!
