How do you deal with Perma-stealth Rogues (specifically as a CW)?

As HR I found my way. I just start to fast click one of my encounters named Fox Shift and I just run around with it when I am near the TR the skill start to hit him and the TR is no more in invisible.

So you can do something like that.

Maybe they should make a Daily power called "Spell of True Sight" for CWs.

Something like an active, 15 second duration / 50 feet radius / PBAoE "reveal invisible objects" magic spell a la classic D&D feel, that reveals all stealth (including HR stealth) within the spell's AoE and makes them visible. The stealthed person may attempt to withdraw outside the 50 feet radius.

So in this sense, the CW would be still a "natural prey" for TRs, and yet, at the same time be the "detector" class that can provide stealth-sight, albeit at limited occasions when AP is full.

In a sense, the TR and the CW would become a nemesis to each other.

Would probably bring back the memories of CoH Defenders and their perception buff stacking against Stalkers.. lol.. :D

(ps) In PvE, this spell may be used to reveal locations of traps and mark them, or stealthed mobs.. if tere is any such within the game.
It's a nice and balanced idea. So much more constructive than than just shouting "nerf TR stealth".
Not a game breaker, since sloting daily would mean hard sacrifce for a CW, but for the price he would become specialized TR/HR hunter with this spell and Lantern in artifact slot.

Or if you can have it Lantern of Revelation:

    Recharge Time: 120s

Use: Deals 1,738 damage to nearby enemies, and increases the damage they take by 16% for 6 seconds.

In addition, for the next 6 seconds, you can see hidden targets an additional 10 feet away.

Ice storm and opressive force do a decent job for when theyre in stealth and near in range.

You mean play as a HR instead?

OK, now let's be honest a bit...

    - TR vs CW used to be balanced before patch. Had some great duels with some of the best TRs in game with better gear, and even if I lost overall, I was able to kill them (to their surprise) a few times
    - after patch? lol. The NO SKILL idiotic Path of Blades always hitting/debuffing with Bile/GPF, extended stealth, Shocking Execution bugged going through Tenacity, can hit from almost full HP to 0, Barkshield charging up while in stealth. Count to 3 CW dodges, use Lashing, guaranteed hit :\

Almost no chance for CW, although with some luck you might pull it off sometimes.

I would have taken their Impact Shots any day against this "I always hit while hidden" stuff, at least you could dodge them. GG Cryptic again.

Some bad advice has been given here:

    - AoEs such as Icy Terrain and Steal Time do mostly nothing to good TR, they can avoid/dodge them and you lose a spell slot
    - Oppressive Force can be walked out of and even dodged and I think even ITC works
    - Ice Storm can be dodged
    - Lantern of Revelation should NOT be used by CW, but by a tanky guy such as a GF/GWF, while in TR hunting team with a CW. CW need their healing artifact. Also has very long cooldown and not always working.

Mostly, good End Game TR are going to leave the node and regen anyway if you get them close enough to death, and them come back before you cap it, or to contest, with only a few points lost to their team while they regen some HP, and of course they will be all stealthy and regening some more--yes even after patch regen still works enough for them. ..and they don't need to regen as much as before, esp with CW since many of our pvp spells don't hit as hard, and don't work with Armor Pen to make make up some difference on the tenacity.

It is why a Duo of people work better on them IF they can be quick about it, and also why some TR are very good at holding/contesting a node, they can tie up resources--they never even have to actually kill someone, to be successful at this---tie up 2 people for 3 or so mins--while the other 4 on their team over power the other nodes.

I believe HRs are the most equipped to counter a permastealth TR.

This is a thread about CW and if someone can post a video of an elite CW beating an elite TR 1v1 please show it because this is becoming a joke and its laughable how cryptic made this broken pvp class build in the permastealth TR

Well, not unless they are using "radar" which some top end game guilds do...
