One of the great things about a Guild bank is that they can be used to trade items between your alt toons. Sure we can mail them to ourselves, but only five at a time per mail.
I'd like to see the implementation of Bank Slots that are account wide. PWE can still sell them for AD or ZEN (maybe at a bit less than the guild slots), so they get a new revenue stream, and players with multiple toons can handle inventory transfer easier.
I could more easily pool my gold and enchantments. Plus with account wide slots, you could allow Professions resources to be put in there so that they can be consolidated too. I know people who just created their own private guild just to get around this problem.

It's been suggested before, and I wholeheartedly agree!

Last time, someone Cryptic talked about it they said the major issue was there being multiple servers. Since those are long gone, I really hope this is right around the corner.
I think it would be a great addition to the game too. With having 1 each of the classes I am constantly transferring nice class-locked drops, etc, back and forth between my players. I didn't create a guild bank, I use the email system for transfers, but it has similar limitations. Even with meticulous email maintenance, I am constantly, riding the jagged edge of "the email could not be sent, the recipients email box is full".
PWI, another PWE game, had these slots years ago, and it was one of the 1st things I invested in.

The mail system IS the account-wide bank.
Certainly not well organized, and the "email could not be sent" limitation is presumably to force people to buy more non-inbox storage.
Yeah, but they don't really want you to use it that way - otherwise they wouldn't have lowered the limits on how many "attachments" you can have in your mail (and didn't that just make a bunch of Star Trek Online players go berserk - apparently, some high-end players had been keeping thousands upon thousands of items in the mail system).
And speaking of STO... yeah, you can store stuff in the mail there too, but they still have an Account Bank feature. You have to buy it off the zen shop, of course.
Which leads me to - yeah, it's another basic service item that they could sell in the zen shop. Seems like all the reason they'd need to do it, eh? (I know I'd likely buy some shared bank space - even with the mail system, an account bank is still useful for stacks of stuff that any of your characters might want to grab a little of. Re-writing storage mails when you just wanted to grab one of the items gets a bit tedious.)

I really, really want an account-wide bank to store the things that it would be useful for everyone to be able to access without having to fiddle with putting things in and taking them out of the mail - dyes, wards, marks.
I absolutely refuse to store these things in the mail because of several bugs which can cause messages to be unintentionally deleted. I am actually very nervous using the mail system to transfer valuable items because of these bugs, which makes for much more stressful than necessary inventory management. First I have to find whoever was last holding that thing I need, then white knuckle until it is safely in the inventory of the character who needed it, until the next time so-and-so needs blue or purple potencies and I have to do it all over again.
Account bank would be a major quality of life improvement, even one that doesn't start out any bigger than the default rows of personal bank space.
My question, if it were implemented, how would it affect purchased bank space on multiple toons? I have 9 toons, 3 have one extra purchase of space, one has 2. Would an account wide bank be separate from personal? Would it all be rolled together, including prior purchased space?

Account bank spaces are almost always separate from personal character bank space in MMOs.
account bank and player/guild housing would be awesome since the city is pretty bland and lack space to people to explore, run awaya nd generaly being iddle chatting

Each character's bank space in your account should basically be merged. Each new character should add 2 new rows to the now common bank space. You could still buy extra bank slots as you can now of course. Probably the simplest and easiest fix, same space as before, easier access.

But than noone will buy the bank slots. As character slots are cheaper and you can make 2 extra toons, sure there is a limit of 50 chars but still... If you got 50 toons than you have more than enough bankspace, so bankslots will be obsolete than ^^.

Yes please to account wide bank slots. It will make item management alot easier with alt's. That people now create a guild just for them self to have this feature can not be intended by the dev's. As a win win its another AD/Zen sink.

Would be even better if you could put crafting material into it...
As long as housing is much better in NW than it is in CO.

Good to know. Thank you
