can u switch ur char between test server and regular server shard?

can switch ur character bet wen test server and regular or after u doing transfer u stay on test shard ? thanxs

    Live -> Mimic (Test Server)
    One way transfer, otherwise there are huge issues!

    You may "copy" your character from the live server on to the test server.

    This means the characters is copied exactly as is from the live server onto the test server. They are not transferred or removed from the live server but are rather an exact duplicate.

    Any changes made to the character on the test server will remain on the test server. :)

    no. You trasnfer a copy of your character.
    you cannot transfer that copy back to the live,This is to stop people getting all the new stuff on the PTS and then transferring it to live.

    Not only that, but by copying characters multiple times, you can get infinite ADs on preview. Useful for testing. Not wanted on live.

    How do you copy your characters to the test server? Is there any instruction on how to do this?

    Read the sticky in this forum or in the Playtest forum both have instructions and links on how to do this.

    This process no longer works now that everything gets redirected to Arc. Does anyone know how to copy characters to Preview now?

    Yes please, a response from a moderator will be very welcome.

    How can we transfer character copies to the test server now that official site has been moved to Arc ?
