Long Chat Lag

Seems to be a significant lag in chat on all channels. 2/20/14 6:26opm EST.

    Chat has been disabled completely at the moment. Social tab is down too and it claims you are not in a guild anymore...

    what is going on?

    I'm just getting up to 5 mins lag is all. But that's a common problem when the chat is messing up.

    I see here are posts from 2013 year but I have this problem now....and don't know what to do..:(

    Chat has nothing to do with ARC. Arc has been out since sometime last year and it has never affected chat before. arcgames website has no interaction with in-game chat. It would be a server-side issue.

    I thought it was just me...


    Last time this happened, they were working on the chat channels. I guess they are doing such right now, as well. That, or that part of the system crashed on them.

    On top of the chat issues mentioned in the posts above I have mail issues: it either takes minutes to send stuff to my alts or it isn't working at all.

    im with you there I thought my gAme was messing up good to see its not just me I was about to do a reinstall

    This is a bit disorienting. I can't get anything done without chat. Umm HELLO!! EMERGENCY MAINTENANCE TIME!

    Wouldn't fixing something that is broken take precedence over a livestream of something "fun"?

    Cryptic has "one" chat server so it's down in one game it is almost always down in their others.

    i had someone say in the stream that the chat is fixed. i'll get a confirmation on that.

    *chat server is offline, but the stream is over so shouldn't be much longer... depending on what the issue is.

    Chat is still offline 10:08 am Australian EST (Brisbane) Am trying to get party together for CTA event. Why is it when you release an event, something always goes wrong elsewhere????

    There does seem to be a developing correlation between CTA and the chat server acting up. Maybe there's something in the Orc Assualt that never really got fixed then they activated the first version again?

    Of course it could also be something to do with the surge of people that come back and do CTAs?

    Same here. Also custom chat channels don't appear in the Chat Options box anymore.

    looks like it's back up. they might have had to reboot it.
