I'm glad it costs that much. It shouldn't be a day 1 gift. It should be a rare reward for people who PvP a lot. I PvP extensively every day, and I'd be very disappointed if 3 days into the expansion I was instantly outgeared by someone who grinded PvE and bought it with AD or simply played 10 matches, got all of their gear, then disappeared again.
I wonder if the Seals of Triumph will be lockbox drops in a similar way that they allowed you fast progress through the campaigns with Illefarn and Thayan relics , hopefully not but if they are I imagine that could be somewhat controversial .
I still can't understand how in people's minds "playing a game" equals to "earning" something while working your *** off in REAL LIFE and spending your hard earned money in game equals to being lazy and not having earned things.
This reasoning is just plain stupid and people should just grow up.
Well at least there is match-making, so players like myself who will probably only get a full PvP set in 2/3/4months won't have to get roflstomped by the guys that can get their gear in a few weeks
PSA: You don't need to grind Spinward Rise for your Elemental artifact main hand if you have some AD lying around. You can craft it via the Tyranny of Dragon's campaign screen.
