I am leading a guild and have noticed several times that the guild bank permissions are bugged. What happens is that at some point one of the withdraw numbers for the first two guild bank tabs on rank 1, 2 and 3 have disappeared. Meaning that guild bank tab now provides for unlimited withdrawing for that rank.
We already have been robbed once thanks to this bug.
The bug occurs randomly. First I thought It might had something to do with patches but today it happened again 30 minutes later after I changed it back.
Hopefully this will be fixed soon.
Other than that I have a suggestion as well. Please make a button where people can deposit AD for a new guild bank tab. So not one person has to pay 1 million astral diamonds for 1 tab for everyone but everyone can donate a little until we have enough.

Last night, we had somebody empty all the Epic gear from our Guild bank and then quit the guild.
The guild is quite new and I can see logs which go back prety much to our creation. The interesting thing is that I cannot see in these logs how or when the person in question joined the guild. I am however entirely sure that the person in question was not one of the guild founders and only the guild founders have the necessary permissions to take more than 2 Purple items from the bank in any given day.
Essentially, the permissions we set as a guild have been ignored and somebody has decimated our bank.
I won't mention their name in this thread, but obviously all of this behaviour is logged so we know who was responsible
I have created a ticket in-game, but I wanted to raise this on the forums since if this is in fact a bug or exploit, other guilds should really be aware of it. It should be very easy for Cryptic to track down this person and punish them accordingly, along with returning all of our items to us. Fingers crossed you guys can make this right.
I have seen reports of similar issues during server rollbacks, but I just cannot fathom how this could happen.

I recall our guild leader mentioning that occasionally our bank permissions don't behave the way they've been set to and he has to redo them. I think what we've gotten is people not being allowed to withdraw things when they should be though.
Hi, I am from the same guild as the previous poster. They would like to know if there has been any progress on this since there has been no update to the in game ticket.
They would ask for themselves but as you can see they have been banned (for literally no reason, according to the screengrab they sent me)

Since the two threads have been merged there is a chance that a forum moderator escalated the issue up to one of the developers , your best bet would be to PM one of the forum mods and ask if they could possibly make a developer aware of this if they haven't already because I can see this turning into a real big problem unless it's dealt with fast.

Thanks. I did this yesterday and was told to just wait to see what happens with the ticket. I was more interested in finding out if the OP had made any progress. We have a couple of people on each side of the atlantic trying to resolve our issue. Since they had a similar thing happen, I was hoping that maybe there had been some sort of resolution.
I am past caring about the loot we lost, that can be replaced. I am more concerned that people can go from guild to guild exploiting this bug. I want to know the bug is going to be fixed and that the people who exploit it are going to be banned.
I want to list the name of the person who looted our bank, but I would prefer to let Cryptic dish out the justice and I will undermine that if I seek my own retribution
Happened to our guild a couple months ago. That was when we put a very strict guild recruitment process in. It still bugs out but we have a very great group of people who thankfully we can trust. The result from CSR was lackluster at best. No reimbursement. No follow ups. No indication as to whether the culprit was disciplined. Just a generic message like the post above me. Good luck in your efforts for justic. Ours was futile
yesterday, this information was presented to one of the community managers and he took it to the devs. they tried to replicate the issue and as of yesterday evening, the could not replicate it.
and i just got word a few minutes ago that they still cannot replicate this issue. at this point, the individual tickets will have to be researched by support.
please do not copy/paste/screenshot your support tickets here. it is a violation of forum rule 3.03 and considered a breach of privacy.
as a guild leader myself, i have never had this happen and don't know how this could happen, but hopefully support can review the logs and determine what occurred.

If this did happen to you, would you expect a reimbursement of the sort? Our guild never got a reimbursement, or confirmation of the culrprit beign disciplined.

actually this did happen to our guild.
but in our case, it was a rank 7 guild leader that did it.
once you file a report, that is the end of your involvement between you and the individual you reported. after that, the issue is between PWE and that individual. per the terms of service:
PWE may take any actions and impose any penalties we deem necessary to discourage and punish any violation of these terms or any other illegal or inappropriate conduct, all without prior notice or warning. The determination as to whether a violation has occurred and who is responsible for such act is solely within PWE's discretion, and is based on what we deem best for the community and the Website. By using the Website, you agree you will be bound by PWE's determination as to whether a violation has occurred and any penalty we choose to implement.
it's truly unfortunate that there are unsavory characters among us, but there are. we have to trust that PWE is going to take the necessary steps to handle the situation that is within everyone's best interest. but because of privacy laws and policy, they won't provide you with the details of those steps.
in our case, we had just gone through a leadership change and apparently one of the persons that was selected for the job shouldn't have been. unless you know some of these individuals personally, how else can you know whether or not you can trust them? stuff happens. what can you do but move on?
these guilds that are experiencing this issue, how many officers have the permissions to change the guild bank options? i would temporarily demote all but one officer and see if these problems persist. i'm not saying that it's not a bug, but by taking the aforementioned action, you're eliminating one possibility.

I could really do with resolving this asap.

No idea what if any action will be taken to track down the clever little thief.
