Did your character already have all 5 slots unlocked?
If you read the item description on the zen store, it's an early unlock of one of the slots that you bought. If they're all open, it's money wasted.
Yes, you'd hope that the game would make it clearer and maybe check the currently logged-in character, but eh. I noticed, and I'm a regular space cadet, so make of that what you will. Caveat emptor, check the small print, batteries not included- sorry.

That would be the reason why.
They need to fix it so that when you unlock the active slots through leveling, that it grays out the buy option on more active slots like it does if you buy the active slots. In the meantime, I would suggest putting in a ticket to see if you can get a refund on your zen since you shouldn't have been able to buy that.
**** they could have been clearer about that or at least grey out the button once you've unlocked it all!just opened a ticket, hope I get a refund.Any GM here?

A lock out system would be great. But simply saying that you CAN NOT have more then 5 active slots, In giant bright lettering. Might help reduce problems like this.

Hope they fix this for you - the Store shouldn't allow you to buy an unlock on a character for which the unlock does nothing.

It is already in place. I bought 2 active slots way before mod 2 and it is grayed out so I can't buy it anymore. It is just that when added it as a level unlock, they forgot to make it so leveling grays it out as well.

. . .Please file a Support Ticket and explain the situation carefully, that you purchased them after hitting level 60. The forums do not offer GM Support, so I am closing this down.
