Artifact Drop Rate Discussions

This artifact is supposedly obtainable via Arcane Coffer (Adamantite Gauntlet).

I have personally opened 40 coffers with adamantite gauntlet and have yet to see the artifact.
An in-game friend has opened 9(?) days worth on 7 characters to no avail.
Every person I know in game has asked their guilds if anyone in their guild has this artifact - the answer is no.


Please take a look at the drop rate for Eye of Lathander; perhaps a decimal or zero was misplaced.

    One person in my guild (Essence of Aggression) now has this artifact. One.

    No other reports as of yet.

    Please look at the drop rate.

    i suggest u search for the wolf drops threads in the last CTA! If the chance is 5% due to rng u can even expect to see it after 80-100 days as it will average for 20 days... also try to post in the feedback thread for artifacts since is not rly a bug.

    In a week of quests, it is possible to obtain 65 [Thayan Scroll], 7 [Thayan Cipher] and at least 111 [Vanguard Scrip].

    to get the adamantine you need Key, Silver, Platinum, Mithral then Adamantine.
    Thats 5, 40,50,60,70 scrolls
    225 scrolls.
    at 65 a week thats 3< weeks of the daily / weekly quests.
    How did you get more scrolls, more so opened 40 coffers when you can only craft 1 a day (so thats 40 days)

    Given it was only released december 5th, and even if this was done over 10 chars (4 adamantine each) how did u get all the scroll required to get the gloves?

    ahh how many do they get you?? is it a significant boost in progression?

    Heaven. Given the length of the campaign it could be expected that the artifact would drop with a 100% rate. Even so, it would have been a hardet to get artifact than the one you get from the quest or the one you get from glory.
    English is not my first language.

    It's Merlin here from EoA, it was me that manage to get it from one of my chars. I consider myself to be very lucky to get one, I would expect the drop rate to be around 1%, or similar to obtaining a mount from lockboxes, or getting an artifact to drop from Valindra which I have killed numerous times and yet to see it drop.

    I don't think there's anything wrong with the drop rate as it's meant to be rare, I do wish that it wasn't BoP, or at least Bind to Account as I now have 1 char with 4 artifacts while another only has 1. But that's the way it goes.

    I should also add, if you want to test the drop rate, perhaps copy your chars over to preview shard and open around 1000 of these Arcane Coffers to see how many you would get, 1000 is probably not enough of a sample size to test real % drop rate, but at least it should give you closer to 100% of getting at least 1.

    Since you can only get it at level 60 and only have a 1% chance to get it as a drop, and it is BoP, it should be a purple base-item and be salvageable so you can do something constructive once you get extras. But don't get me started on arcane coffer reward qualities. it pretty much sucks all around.

    I have opened a few boxes too but I have not received this artifact yet, it is annoying that you can only use 1 gauntlet daily and just find a lesser mark of potency worth 500 AD. Same with Emblem of Seldarine? For those who already finished MC (fabled+fomorian) it is just annoying to go for MC just for an artifact that drops 0,0001% because it must not be even 1%.

    It is simple guys, if drop is 1% they should be BoE, I prefer wasting 10m or whatever and get my artifact instead of 1 gauntlet daily for nothing, if you are unlucky, it can take you months. Since they are BoP, add a better drop chance and those extras can be used to refine another artifact.

    I got 2 the first week... i have the first one leveled to epic (level my artifacts to legendary is beyond my ingame wealth) and the second one... i used it to refine the first one... yeah they should be BoA at least.

    Today I have opened a box with adamantite gaunlet (the artifact was in the box) but the it hasnt appeared in my inventory, nor crtl+j achievement was unlocked.

    it wasnt my main character tho so I dont cry much. I post this here since I cant create new posts

    Hit "c" as it equips the artifact automatically.

    I got one today, after less than a week of adamantine gauntlet tries (1 each day). So, since artifacts are unique and this one is BOP, it is such a waste to get more than 1. I think I would rather keep any spare ones in my inventory and star at it everyday than using them as RP food... :D

    I got it the other day.

    I would like higher drop rate and harder dungeons instead of low drop rate and easy dungeons.
    Like running VT 150 times without seeing the artifact is just ridiculous.

    I've been opening Arcane Coffers with an Adamantine Gauntlet since 60 hours into Module 2 release (earliest moment possible to have it). No Artifact yet.

    Actually my GF got this artifact on using the purple gauntlet for the first time. Oddly enough, he's the last one among my characters who would even want it, some of them (like my rogue and GWF) actually need it.

    Mel, I think characters that have less AD have a higher chance of getting it. I got it on my TR that had way under 1mil AD, while my others seem to be lucky to not get peridots. So I'll happily hold onto your AD until you get one :)

    This artifact is actually not that useful. When you use it to pick someone up, they'll still get revive sickness, and if they're completely dead, you can't pick them up. So you may as well walk over and press F on that person. It could be useful in PvP to pick up ppl while still fighting.

    Finished it and i havent seen the artifact drop...

    One of my Guildies has 2. I am the same. Opened since day 1 - went to Adamantite as quick as I could buying the lock box rewards - and nothing.

    I think this is the last day I try to get it for my 3rd artifact. I'm just so very tired of getting peridots for weeks. It's a mockery of the AD I spent to make these gauntlets. I'll just buy the waters and give up.

    I have one on my CW. Just for your information, it's BoP. No point trying to get one with multiple characters, unless you want it for that specific character.

    Is it just me or is the item's active effect rather unterwhelming? My gf (in this case girlfriend, not guardian fighter) got one, and I promptly did a /killme so we could test it. Unlike the description suggests, it doesn't seem to "resurrect" dead people. I guess all it does is get them up from "dying" state i.e. within the countdown phase. Bit of a letdown.
