Fomorian/Fallen dragon craft can failed?

Can I use in craft the white "Grindstones"? Is there a chance to fail the craft? Is there a difference to use white and blue assets in the craft of these weapons?

    Yes it can "fail" in a way that you have a chance to get the tier 1 result which would not be what you want.

    You need to accumulate 100% quality with assets in five slots. So that's 20% for each slot or five blue assets on average. Of course the white ones can be used, but they only give you +8% quality. So after using the two mandatory ones you'll still need another 84% (purple/blue/blue).

    The total quality of the tools used determines the percentage chance of achieving a specific tier of result. With 4 white tools you have a 32% chance of getting the tier 2 result (and thus a 68% chance of getting the tier 1 result.) With 4 purple tools you have a 100% chance of getting at least tier 2, and a 60% chance of getting tier 3 if there is a tier 3 for that task.

    If there are only 2 tiers for the task, you only need 3 purples (total quality +120%), 2 purples and a blue (total quality +104%), 2 purples and 2 greens (total quality +112%) or 1 purple and 3 blues (total quality +112%) to guarantee a tier 2 result.

    Only 1 tool has to be a specific type (grindstone for high level weaponsmithing tasks, like Fomorian weapons), the other up to 3 tools can be any tool type appropriate to the profession (grindstone, anvil or hammer for weaponsmithing.)

    Any optional slot not used for a tool can be filled with a professional of the correct type to speed up the manufacturing process.

    you also have a chance to fail and lose all the fragments like 1 guildie did xd


    Just make sure u put assests for 100%+ and ur fine

    Also note that these crafting tasks allow use of 5 tools instead of the usual 4, which means that you can reach over 100% chance at crafting your item using just blue quality tools.
