We need ROUS's in NW or a Floating Skull companion ... Maybe the Liche (phylactery) you pick up in the graveyard? It needs to have a real wise *** attitude, and complain all the time, even hit you with a minor debuff on occasion just for laughs.
I know what to ask for! A title for knocking down fences in Rothe Valley! Vandela Fencebane is now a reality! Mwahahaha #fencegating for the win!
Totally agree, we get one for jumping from the Tower in the Tower District so ...
Ooohhh, how about a 'Golden Chicken" event? I'm still bitterly disappointed that Chickens in Rothe don't explode when you attack them, or spawn a giant fey "Gallus Domesticus of Death"!
Chicken companion would be rad! Others on my list would be a minogon and more join stones (there are more out there in the lore than just red and blue)

This! As soon as I got the quest in neverdeath I wanted a floating lich skull companion. Melancholy and morose combat chat with the random debuff for a good hearty chuckle. Make it like the join stone or cat.

Y'know, I'm not much into "joke" companions... but a demilich would be too awesome to pass up. Especially if it was the "Neverdeath Lich".
I think you need to be on the chicken companion bandwagon. make it a controller with a puff of feathers daze attack. idle animation can lay an egg every so often.
You know I posted in 'The Wilds' about a possible "Class Specific' quest to get a skin for a companion. My idea their was the Forsworn Wolf breeder to give you a "pup" for feeding her wolves. It would just be a unique skin for the dog companion, but still be cool. So why not a Lich/Skull 'Skin" for one of the stones? Or ...!!! A Chicken Skin for one of the bird companions? Drops eggs on the enemies for 'slow' damage.
I'm pretty new... this is my very first MMO in my life.
Wtf is a Winter Mimic? lol. aware me.
a mimic is from the dungeons & dragons monster manual. it is essentially a creature that can change itself into items made of stone or wood, commonly chests as seen in the screenshot.

Winter mimic? Why hasn't anyone guessed snowman? or a present maybe? It's sorta obvious.
update: Saw a pic, it is like an ice chest, very nice.
the Winter Mimic is a trunk or a chest or to put it straight: a box on legs. This box with hundreds of little legs follows you around, wherever you are.
While in combat, the winter mimic attacks everything that might harm its master - slam into it, bite it or just look at it with its rusty hinges in a very, very frightening way - ask the Baselisk what happened after it blinked!
While out of combat you can access the inside of the "box on legs" and store 16 items in it.
As the winter mimic is account bound all your account's characters can access the winter mimic's 16 slots and exchange items wherever they are.
for 1000 ZEN you can buy additional 16 inventory slots within the box, these new unlocked slots are accessible to all characters of your account. There is an upper limit of 1024 inventory slots within the mimic
*end of dream*
Well, this would probably be what the customer wants. No way we are gonna get that!

I shall name mine..... Chester! Chester Fencebane! What a glorious name that would be for my Mimic Companion. I know they aren't going to make something like that simple to get, so which class should I try getting him on first? Decisions, decisions.

I would love a mimic-like companion - in particular as I already have the "Mimic Tamer" title - it seems somehow appropriate. However, I see no reason why the mimic should look like a chest - and a snowman-like mimic would be really, really cool.
lmao. another mount/companions to take up bag space and bank slots. No Thank You. Rather see the issues that need to be fixed fixed. 6 characters 5 man dungeons? should have a event where you can do 6 man or ever dare I say 10 man dungeons and make it so you can only have 2 of the same class and really rallied around team work. But I can always dream
There are like 30 different character classes in D&D. 5 man dungeons are fine are fine as they are.... but they need to add 20 man raids.
Comments
Glorious news indeed.
... that is, if it even looks like a chest. who knows? the winter theme may even turn it a giant lockbox/gift
No, they will be awesome. Best companions ever*
*until miniature giant space hamsters or clockwork kittens are added
*why no blue mount for christmas bah humbug!* lol
My life is complete now!

One of the many Control Wizards that misses Shard Of The Endless Avalanche. RIP Shard (Beta-Mod3)
