Ok so i recently made a new hunter ranger character and currently he cannot access the market or auction house
When I open the auction house via the npc in protector's enclave or from the menu bar this is what happens.
1) click the menu bar for market
2) the "what do you choose menu" opens up
3) click 1 or press 1 on keyboard (for what gear do you reccomend)
4) auction broker window appears (error pops up also) "[Error]No results found for search"
5) there is a blank window (black box) where find similar buttons usually are
Thank you please fix this.
all other characters on my account have access my hunter ranger does not.

The broker was able to load recommended gear for my HR very early on (like level 4-5), but what displayed was for a CW. Looks like these are placeholders and this feature hasn't been fully implemented for the HR. Oopsie.
Note that if you visit the AH in person, not through the broker (market or remote), your HR can still buy and sell. It's just not quite as convenient since you have to be at the AH in PE.

Almost the same here when clicking the gavel icon on top of screen but with "No results found for search" popping up in red text. Same happens when I try to check it through the auction broker Elian Tally in the Seven Suns Coster Market.
It seems like it happened when I double clicked to buy out an item in the AH but instead of buying it it put in a bid only. I then clicked on the Buy Out button on the bottom right and just bought the item thinking I would receive the bid amount back since I thought it would be like being out bid on the item. However I never got the bid amount back in the mail only the item.
Might be the above is what is causing this bug. Almost as though the AH is thinking it owes me the AD back for my bid but it's never been sent to me. I have the same bug on the preview shard on a character there but am not sure if I did the same things in the same order to create it. It WAS working properly for me on this character before this. Also the character is a HR.
VERY annoying bug since I can only use the auction house by actually visiting it.

Unfortunately, this is an existing bug wherein the game doesn't track properly if you buy out a listing where you're the highest bidder. You get the item, but you don't get your bid back. (Double-clicking to buy stuff in this game seems overall to be fraught with peril. Safest to always click the "buy" button to ensure the action taken is what you intended.)
HRs having trouble with searches should be an unrelated issue.
Edit: *If* you know the amount of AD you lost with the bugged bid, you can try submitting a ticket explaining the bug and asking if a refund is possible. I've had some luck with refunded AD as the outcome of polite and detailed tickets, though their willingness to do so might have something to do with which representative you get on the other end, the amount not being so excessive it sounds like you're scamming, and the alignment of Jupiter.
I have the exact same problem as the OP with my Hunter Ranger character. All other toons on the account are ok.
Can we gets this fixed please.

Looking for a response from a dev even just acknowledging this bug. It's ridiculous that we can only access the AH by having to go direct to the AH in the Enclave.
I also submitted this bug in-game and was give via system response ID # 2,168,750.
I don't know what happends to bug reports submitted in-game a they do not appear in my PWE Ticket History. I understand this is not a game breaking bug, but an annoyance and at least after 10 days of having been posted by the OP should be acknowledged by someone working for NW.
If I do not see any aknowledgement soon I will submit a ticket to PWE Support, as they usually answer in a couple of days and I suggest everyone else do the same.
the AH currently is hit of miss and you have to wait a few minutes for anything to post. can't search for items easily anymore, just takes way too much time.

Bug reports do not go through customer service, and therefore do not receive a reply except possibly in rare circumstances when more information is requested.
Submitting a help ticket should receive a response. But in this case (no auction access through broker), all that response would say is that you should submit a bug report if you haven't already and wait for a general fix. Customer service can't magically give your HR auction broker access.
Unless this bug is caused by a simple flag that wasn't set to allow an existing script to run, it's not going to be a fast fix to implement, because somebody has to select and program in all the broker recommendations for each character level (or at whatever increments the recommended gear changes).

Are you saying going through support just ends up being an endless circle where they send you back here but no one in support reads here?
I'd be happy to report this bug any other place it might get attention. Is there somewhere better? If so why is there even a forum area like this called "Bugs Reports"?
Maybe a mod want to comment here?

Using the in-game bug report should get your report sent directly to the programmers who'll be fixing it, but they don't reply to you.
Sending a bug report and submitting a help ticket are two different processes.
As for the forums, they're more useful for communicating with other players, who can at least help with workaround for bugs in some cases (but not this one... the workaround is to go to the AH in person).

PLEASE FIX THIS!
Only my HR is having this problem.
I have 3 other characters and are not affected buy this bug.
[Error] No results found for search.
The only way to access the AH is heading to town and it is inconvenient.
Can a DEV confirm this bug?
