Arcane Coffer unopenable again if contents not taken

The Arcane Coffer from The Dread Spire which requires Gauntlets to open cannot be looted if for any reason you were not able to take the contents the first time.

This is different behavior from all other chests.

    You also cannot receive any more gauntlets because the quest doesn't update and you can't drop the quest. Doesn't look like it's happening for enough people for them to acknowledge it though.

    I have the exact same problem. When I came to my first arcane chest I opened it with the silver gauntlet, then I mistakenly quit the window (after seeing inside was only a pearl) and the gauntlet vanished from my inventory - but the chest is now not usable again (needs the glove) and I cannot cancel or restart the quest in quest journal. So I cannot continue with the quest chain. What now?

    The first gauntlet is free, after that it needs to be crafted and takes 20h after you unlocked the ability to make it.

    You are not listening. He said first quest and he clearly meant looting and not opening. Your comment is entirely irrelevant to this thread.

    Several times I'm not getting my item. I clicked "take item". The chest closes. Then, when I check my inventory, the item isn't there. Extremely frustrating...

    . . .If two or more people loot the Arcane Coffer at the same time, they will see the same rewards but only one person will get it. This really needs fixed too. Until then, loot it one at a time.
