Module 2: Shadowmantle will be live on December 5, 2013!

We’re proud to announce that Module 2: Shadowmantle, the second free content expansion for Neverwinter, will be live on December 5, 2013 - just a few weeks away!

    Don't forget about us Founders with the Greycloak's Legacy, There's no items for the Rangers on the Test shard for the Legacy, but there WILL be for the release of Module 2 right?

    Are we gonna be able to reset our skills for free or will we have to purchase a retraining token?

    Everyone will be getting respec tokens. GWFs and DCs will be getting forced respecs due to changes in the feat trees.

    I was wondering if there will be any new Dungeon? This is not a must for me and I rather would feel that expansion does NOT make all old items obsolete. If expansion has 1-2 better items for example belt or ring then that is ok for me.

    Don't get me wrong I sure like existing Dungeons, PvP and Gauntlgrym. I am also very happy Hunter Ranger class is released.

    Yea there will be a new dungeon. Its going to require the highest gear score for entry of any dungeon. 10.5k I believe.

    Everyone will be getting a free respec token for any characters created prior to the launch of Module 2.

    10.5k gearscore demand does not disturb me even though not all of my charcters have yet reached that. However I would prefer that you don't need to do lots of quests to open the Dungeon like in first campaign. I still have not gotten access due to first campaign dungeon due to that.

    Even if gearscore demand would be sightly higher example 11k+ that would be better then you have to complete whole campaign to get access to Dungeon.

    No they're not... I have been unable to get the Legacy on preview with the Ranger.

    I live on the East Coast of Australia, so we are nearly a day ahead of everybody else. What date and time will I be able to access the Hunter Ranger Class and purchase the pack for the Hunter Ranger? I am trying so hard to be patient but cannot wait!

    Correction, 12k to 13k gs, if you using the lfg chat and not the lfg queue tool.....i know you know what i meant :)

    Won't be that early. Assuming normal downtime, the earliest would probably be 9am Pacific/12pm Eastern.

    Quick question: DCs are getting a forced respec. Are they ALSO getting the respec token? i want to play my DC, but if i screw up my respec because i HAVE to do it to play the character, am i going to be able to fix her once for free AFTER the forced respec?

    That's a good question.
    On preview it looks like the forced respec is the only one.
    The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.

    Actually, i just signed up to preview. i'll copy her over there and figure it out. Then if it's messed up, it's no big deal. i like to mull things over a bit with character changes before committing.

    Once you're in game, you can see whether you have a Free Respec available if you open up the Powers window. The "Respec Character" button will show whether you have a free respec to use before you commit to actually respeccing.

    That should hopefully give you all the info you're looking for before committing any points.

    I read earlier that the Cleric forced respec only effects the Feats
    So reassign the Feats points first
    Then you can save the Free Character Respec for when you need it

    Well done folks, it looks like a lot of work was put in 3 short months to get this update out. Great job on changing/evolving the enchantment system! Like the ability to vote on kicking out of party, but it doesn't say that will apply to PVP, or any updates to PVP (new map ever?), vote out bots, etc. I am sure you realize that bots are basically stealing AD from you in PVP. Also players get to barrier levels like 39 in PVP and then just sit in PVP, quitting at end, never gaining experience so that they can permanently dominate a level range, i.e. 30-39 with 30+ kills. For the many of us who love PVP, making new characters and playing PVP is not fun with the bots and the camping dominate players. Why not introduce a gear score ranged PVP like dungeons? No respectful player wants to sit and kill 35 and 0 day after day. It would be challenging. Lastly, why change the horse slot? That is a bad idea for PVP having to move over to it. Hopefully a Holiday/Christmas zone is in the works? I love the idea of collection scores; since they are cosmetic for the time being, how about adding slots in your guild bank as a bonus for your collection, or granting a random enhancement that you can use or sell so that you can start your new armor/bracer/boots/hat collection? That way we can collect more sets.

    was wondering the same thing still cant get in? im in central timezone so it should have been done couple hrs ago what gives?
